In a room star star star star halfstar

The sign reads

"Welcome all new travellers.

To continue you must go through a series of doors.

After going through you will pick a costume. You will then become a half- human and half that creature.

After a week(100 mins a hour,20 hrs a day,10 days a week) has passed you may morph and get another costume. To start of with you will only be able to become 40% human to 60% human.

If you put on a costume you will then become that creature, be teleported to it's home town and have to wait a week before being able to morph.

After 50 costumes you may change into one of your other costumes and become 30% to 70% human. When changing costumes you must wait at least an hour before you can change costumes again.

100 different species/gender costumes allows you to gender-morph and become 20% to 80% human

200 different species costumes allows you to combine costumes and become 10% to 90% human

400 different species costumes allows you to return to your world with no more morphing

And 800 different species costumes makes a polymorph and allows you to morph outside of this world.

Also if you have a costume like a centaur then the human part will always be human and is counted towards the human percentage.

Any gender/species transformation magic of yours can only change your gender(if you have at least 100 costumes) and the animal part to a different animal.

When you change into a different costume (that you already have) you may teleport to that species home town but you will have the week penalty where you have no costume changes.

If you die while wearing a costume you will be reborn at the local inn (or appropriate location ). If you have more then 100 costumes you will lose the costume you had when you died and go to an appropriate place for your next costume.

If you fail to make it out in 100 years(100 weeks in a year) one of your possible forms will be chosen and you will be permanently stuck in that form(apart from magic) until you die. Also there will be no possibility of going back to your world.

Also, one final note: should you take a female form and become pregnant, you won't be able to change your gender until the child is born, though the other aspects of your form may change (the child will change to match.) That is all, and good luck!

You realise that you have to do what the sign said to do and go through the doors and grab a costume.

Kitsune star star star emptystar emptystar

You grab the Kitsune costume.

All of a sudden every other costume disappears.

As there is nothing else to do you put on the costume that you grabbed.

As you look at it you release it is a Kitsune.

The changes start almost immediately as a mirror appears for you to watch the transformation.

The tails suddenly gain more mass and you can feel them.

Your body then bonds to your fur and you can feel the air rushing through your fur.

You feel your mouth and nose stretch into your muzzle.

You go blind temporally as your eyes change.

Since the costume was male, you anticipate what comes next, but it's still a shock for you. There is a pulling sensation in your groin, and you look down just in time to watch the new organs form. As you are looking down, you notice your breast disappear. The final changes take place as your hips shrink and your smooth brown hair shortens and becomes reds.

The last are your ears moving up and become pointy like a fox's.

Finally, it's done, and you are a handsome kitsune.

Time for Math! star star star halfstar emptystar

Your kitsune tails swish back and forth in an elegant dance, reminding you of Keaton from those Zelda games. You'd always liked Keaton...

This is serious, you realize. This is no joke; this is real. What had that sign said? That was probably important!

You are reminded of that movie Saw.

Huzzah for you; a copy of the sign is provided in the room and, you suspect, in most of the other ones. You take your trusty date planner from your pocket, and a pen. Fumbling with your foxy fingers, you copy down the important information from the sign.

Hmm... the time limit is 100 years. 100 weeks in a year, 10 days a week... you have 100,000 days to finish. If you wanted to rush through with this 800 costume thing (may as well go for the gold), you could do about 10 costumes a day. At ten days per week you could finish in 80 days, or 8 weeks.

Your sexy eyes blink. Hmm. That's not very long at all.

That leaves 9,992 weeks for other activities...such as visiting home worlds, for example.

Heck, you could visit the home world of every creature's form you assumed if you wanted. Still, that's eight years that you may not get back...

You find yourself in a quandary. You can now move on, piddle around until an hour's passed and keep on with the costume changing... but you'd be all alone and increasingly bored. Or you could visit the Kitsune home world and take the week penalty for the costume, which would keep you occupied but would take more time.

Choose!

Visitors, Precious! star star star star halfstar

You have an opportunity no one else has ever had... you think; a chance to visit the apparent idol of millions of fanboys and girls worldwide! What are Kitsune like? How do they govern themselves? Do they know any good riddles? It's time to find out! You ready your pen and paper... you may as well make this demi-scientific. A few notes may be invaluable to science, or omesuch.

You're ready, but... how does this teleportation thing work? You decide to try the simple approach.

"Oh forces that made this... maze thing," you begin, "I choose to visit the Kitsune homeworld for exactly one week, at which time I would like to return to morph again."

Ploink.

You are standing in what seems to be a very thick forest, between two trees, except everything around you has an unearthly air of pure awesome around it.

The ferns and shrubbery are vibrant, odiferous and awesome. The trees are super-huge, and the leaves are like pure manifestations of awesome. A mosquito lands on your reddish, hairy arm, and when it bites you it doesn't suck your blood, but it sucks out that plaque that had been building up in your arteries and which would have caused you pain and suffering in your later years.

Awesome.

What's most awesome, though, are the Kitsune (Kitsuneses?). Like huge foxes with lots more tails, they're prancing around their homes, which seem to be elegant underground tunnels a la hobbit holes. Some carry bundles of herbs, some are discussing politics and their most daring exploits, and some seem to be keeping the walks clean with straw brooms held in their nimble paws.

You wonder vaguely if Kitsuni can spin their tails around and fly, like in Sonic.

When you ploink onto the scene, all the Kitsune stop and stare at you. Pretty standard reaction, really.
Well, you're here for a week. What's next?

Almost a soon as you materialize you are being introduced to all the kitsuni around the place.

Suddenly

A siren blears.

Everyone goes underground.

"What is going on?" you ask. The kitsune nearest you answers with "The dragons are attacking us again"

You quickly follow them underground

"The repealing crystals are fading again" the kitsune continues. "Repealing crystals?" you ask. "Oh ,your new" she answers with.

"The crystals are what protects us from the dragons" the kitsune explains " however they have been getting weaker and weaker each time and the dragons are getting closer with more dragons each time".

"What is being done about it?" you ask. "Well most of our males went to find more crystals but that was over a year ago"

"Why don't you use Illusion spells?" you ask.
"We do" the kitsune says "but a far as we can tell all the dragons have a 'Rod of Revealing' which removes the effect of all our Illusion spells.

Darn Dragons... star star star halfstar emptystar

Above ground, there's a roaring, screeching heat and dragons going nuts. As all the lovely lady kitsunes huddle around you and the few other males nearby, you take out your day planner and jot down "kitsune vs. dragons. Repealing crystals used, now weak. Rod of Revealing X's illusion spells.

Cause?" You also make notes of the awesome forest and, erm, how "well groomed" the lady kitsune are.

Finally, the dragons are heard no more. Only their jeers float back on the wind.

"Yah, take that you dadblam fox duck-spankers!

That's whatchoo get fer yer dadblam tricks and decepterin's! You'd better keep hidin' if you value yer furrrrrrr!"

You jot down "Alabama: dragons?"

A grumbling parade of kitsune emerge from the holes. The forest is burnt and steamrolled. A she-kitsune sighs.

"Every day they come, and every day we have to rebuild the forest. We spend so much time on it, we haven't the time for the fun we used to have."

"... But why?" you ask.

"A spoiled mage got the wool pulled over his eyes by one of us awhile ago," the kitsune replies. "It turns out he trades with some faraway town of Ascalon or something, and the gems he gets powers the Rod of Revealing. Most people tricked by us learn the lesson we teach and move on, but this one is vengeful. If only we had the time to tell him why we did what we did...

if only we could spare *some brave kitsune* that perhaps *hasn't had much experience with rebuilding this forest* to go and talk. Oh, if only there was such a brave, handsome he-kitsune..."

Hmmm...

"Alright I get the hint I will go find this mage or what ever"

"Thank you very much, I know you can do it" she says as she winks to you.

You decide to go and get this adventure over with so you can relax in you awesome kitsune body.

you keep wondering what way to go until you look to the path to the side and see it is it all burnt. "So the dragons must have come from that way" you think. So you decide to take the burnt road

new sense in bottle star star emptystar emptystar emptystar

You stand there you decide whether to drink the bottle.

You wait a second expecting something to happen and just when you close your eyes and give up hope a new sense comes to you leading you the way out of the forest with your eyes closed.

After a while of trapping over stumps and walking into tree "ouch" you find the way out but the second you step out of the forest a weird tingling goes over your body
