Demon voice
As the blood of the creature trickles down your throat, you hear a strange voice in your head. The voice is dark and brooding, something altogether powerful. You try to shake your head to get it out but it is in there sound and strong. The rabbit upon which you so recently fed collapses to the ground.
In one last show of dedication to it, unseen master the creature hugs its huge arms around you to hold you tight, but you hardly notice any of it.
The voice has begun to make itself clearer and you can understand what it is saying now. Not in words or images but in feelings. It feels strong it wants to make you strong to. It wants to share with you the power it has in exchange for your servitude. As it says this, you grasp your head in both hands and yell out in pain. The demonic choir in your head ceases its fearsome melody... for now.
The Rabbit creatures have closed in around you. Slowly circling they close in on you with death in their eyes. The fox is still nowhere to be seen. You stand examining your situation.
If this is real, then it is not good. If this is a dream, then its ok you are obviously mad, and it is still very bad. This does not feel like a dream.
In fact, it feels like you are in a world of pain already, and the place on your face where that fox had laid her stinking mitts burns in a way you never before experienced.
That is when you hear a new sound in your head. This is much calmer and sedate then the creature earlier and unlike the earlier voice, this one speaks in real words. "Do not fall to the dark one" it says oh so quietly "Do not allow yourself to become one of his mindless slaves."
You know its time to make a choice about what to do next. However, what can you do?
