The first problem I had was the constant shifting of POVs and the only way was an unbolded heading that is easy to miss
The second is the lack of actual transformation. One charcter becomes a wolf , the other a mermaid. This is just mentioned and not explored
The thrid problem is the lack of real plot. Their is some scenes that seem like they advance the plot when viewed individually but they don't flow together.
