My biggest problem with this book is the first few chapters have plot development and then their are a lot of chapters where nothing happens.
We get introduced to the two types of shifters. The main character then gets called to infiltrate an enemy nation. We get a few scenes from that point of view and then they are in the enemy camp. Then we get many chapters of her staying their in animal form without any plot advancement.
Their are a few chapters from the point of view of other characters but they also end up with little plot advancment
Overall I gave up about 20% in
