This book suffers from what a lot of shifter books suffer from. When you have a human form and another form , you are the same person in both of them and their is no real difference
And on top of that the only time they really make any mention of it is dive bombing with the bigger form to make a bigger splash
Story wise their is not much to recommend either. The main driver of the plot is someone gets a power and is driven away and not even looked for
Overall I can't find anything to recommend from this one
