I was hopeful when reading the start but it quickly became forgettable.
I think the problem is best described by the characters. Their is a cat shifter, probably a lioness. She is only in a couple of scenes. Their is also a werewolf alpha who sort of challenge the main character but again fades out.
Late in the story their is a character who I could not remember the species
Overall it only barely above a 1
