I think the biggest problem I had with this book is how long the setup before going into the second world is. It throws many terms without bother to define them and then they are all irrelevant when a few chapters later the character goes into the new world.
I think another problem is the characters. Their are so many that none get any development or ease of telling them apart.
Overall I am quite disappointed in this book.
