We start off with a former human who turned herself into a rabbit and took off to her own planet far away from the rest of humanity.
Being former military she is picked up so she can be ambassador to an alien race. (who asked for her specifically)
Their also appears to be a plan to use this talk for other purposes.
It appears that their are a few forces shaping up behind the scenes ready to make their move
