This is a interesting idea for a story. A group of teenagers start growing wings.

Out of the seven characters we meet two before they meet. They contrast is interesting. One has a family and runs away while in hospital. The other one is in Mexico when the last of their family dies and tries to find the first as a result of the news reports

On the other side are two groups trying to make use of the teenagers

One appears to be genetic engineers and possibly responsible for the change in the first place

The other one is a religious cult. Although they have helped the group escape

A solid start to the series, I would like to see the series expanded both ways. The other five back-stories as well as the future
