Oops! Not a dragon, but a wyvern costume that you are now
Finding yourself surrounded by jagged rocks upon the mountain range as you took your first few steps, you fell flat face forward. Luckily it didn't hurt much, thanks to your hard scales. Trying to get up with your arms end up with you using your wings instead. Scared of what went wrong as you remembered picking up the red dragon costume, or was it.
Thinking very carefully as you remember that you find yourself drawn to one of the more unusual-looking costumes in the room. It looked somewhat like the red dragon costume next to it - it has scales, anyway, and some folded things that look like wings. Unlike the dragon though, you can't make out most of this costume's shape for It would seem to be almost entirely tail as There were no obvious place to put your arms in. Wait, arms!?
That's when it hits you as you felt The fabric to be nice - with red scales on the back, white underneath, with a smooth surface that practically begs you to put it on - but the costume itself just looks... odd. Because it wasn't a red dragon costume, it was a red wyvern costume for It's almost as if the idea of humans wearing it was an afterthought. Still though, you did choose the costume more out of curiosity than anything else for You wanted to see if it looks any better when you wear it. Now you wished you took more notice on these things as you remembered on how the costume felt while being worn on.
The costume fits surprisingly well enough as The fabric was slightly stretchy, clinging to your bare body without even restricting most of your movement. The smooth red scales mostly covered you like a second skin while The mask was long and narrow, consisting mostly of a bony muzzle that it looks rather front-heavy. once on your head though for it's so light that you can hardly feel it as The legs were barely worthy of the name for they were just two inflated bulking-like thighs of red material. You had to spread your legs apart from falling over, yet they fit well enough to be almost dragon-like legs for The only problem now was the tail. Most of it drags on the floor that you kept tripping over your own, soon to be tail.
further searching it proved that there were, indeed, no arms in the costume. That's what the wings were for for They hung in folds from your arms, like a cape that your fingers were more or less useless inside them. All you can do is wrap the wings around yourself that As you did so, your arms exploded as you yell in alarm - it feels like every finger had flown off in a different direction. However, It takes you a moment to realize that there's actually no pain for Your arms were growing while stretching to fill out the costume's sleeves with wiry muscles. And yet, all of your bones were something still together through this message as They're just getting longer for Your fingers stretch until they're no longer fingers, but the struts of bat-like wings. Only your thumbs remain - though with the addition of claws, they're more like talons.
There is a tugging feeling at the base of your spine as your tailbone stretches, turning from that silly little vestigial thing to something more worthy of a name for The growing vertebrae filled the costume's empty tail like an arm in a sleeve. Muscles filled it out the rest of the way very nicely, and you find yourself with a whole new limb, an extra ten feet of your body that flexes like a snake. The webs of your wings were growing as well that By now, the bases of the membranes stretched from your shoulders to your hips, which you watched as they continue down your tail.
Your face bulges out into a reptilian muzzle, filling the space inside the costume's head as Your tiny human teeth grow into sharp fangs. Licking them with your long, serpentine tongue that it feels like there are about twice as many then before. The rubber on your face melts away, and you feel a faint itching as the scales become firmly attached to your skin. The effect spreads over the rest of your body, the costume becoming skin rather than merely skintight. Except for the scales for you were naked once again.
This soon ceases to be a problem. The costume squeezes your torso, flattening your chest and groin into a smooth, snakelike underbelly. Looking down, you see nothing but flat scales. you can't tell just by looking. Without warning, your body begins to stretch, and you overbalance and fall forward. Fortunately, your wings are strong enough now to hold your head and chest off the floor. They're much longer than your legs now. As if to emphasize that, your rear end sags; you look back to see your legs refilling with what your tail went through as they soon were strong and Worthy on calling them legs altogether. Your tail lie flat on the floor, more snakelike than before.
There were a few more subtle changes, bulking out your flight muscles and streamlining what used to be your hips, but you're more or less done. You've become a wyvern and not a dragon. Aside from your tail, wings, and legs that the leathery red membranes were your only remaining limbs.
You're also much larger than before. Your coils take up most of the room, and your wings were cramped under the low ceiling that You wonder how much you weigh now.
Too much, apparently. As you waited for the glass room to dissolve around you for you to somehow fly out. This can't be happening as you thought you wore the red dragon suit instead of the red wyvern suit. Upon seeing your reflection on the surface of the near by water that it was true, you did down on the wyvern costume as you began to cry in tears.
What now as it would look silly for you, now a wyvern, to explore your surroundings now while walking. That just leaves you with the option of flying around till you straighten this thing out. But where?
