Cleaning emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

After mulling it over for a little bit, you decided not to do that. You could enjoy your day doing other things. For example, cleaning the house!

“Oh, yeah. It’s kinda dirty…” You sighed. Dirtiness wouldn’t do, and you procrastinated enough already.

You left the room, before going down the hallway and opening another door—where you stored some cleaning apparel. Namely, the broom. Another thing that was more difficult now was holding things.

Mostly because you had hooves instead of hands. However, after a bit of practice, you managed to get the hang of it. That didn’t make it any less hard, though, and every once in a while, you found yourself dropping something you had just grabbed.

Case in point, you dropped the broom, before groaning in frustration.

“Why couldn’t I have been, I dunno, a monkey? They can hold things.” You rolled your eyes. Well, it was pointless to cry over spoiled milk.

…Which was a metaphor that accurately represented your current situation. At least you managed to snicker while you kneeled, grabbing the broom again.

This time around, you managed to hold it, and more importantly, keep yourself steady. “Phew. This had no reason to be as difficult as it is.”

Again, you considered that maybe it would have been better to be a monkey. But oh well, you had a job to do.

Cleaning the house. You rubbed the broom against the cold, wooden floor. For the first few seconds, nothing really happened. But as you kept brushing, you saw more and more dust pile up.

Great, now you just had to move that dust away from your room! An easy task, right? No, it wasn’t. It didn’t feel like an easy task. It felt difficult, and annoying.

Part of that was due to your clumsy hooves. Even though you’d gotten used to them, you would have liked to have hands. It made cleaning take longer to finish. And, well, you weren’t exactly a huge fan of that.

You kept going, though. Brushing, and brushing, and getting the dust gathered and tossing it in a trash can. This was a task that wouldn’t take too long when you were a human.

Things were a bit different now. During times like these, you wished you’d become human faster. Because of hands. Well, you’ve been in this life for a week by now, and it wasn’t enough to get used to… the clumsiness.

Could anyone get used to this? Then again, you didn’t know your neighbors very well. Maybe it was time to change this! Even as a human, you knew how to cook. Just because you were a cow now, it didn’t mean you couldn’t give them something nice.

Like… a cake or something.
