Walk for a long time
Something in your head told you to walk up the street. Continuing along the path the castle led you to, you followed the dirty gravel roads far behind your fallen kingdom. Vast stretches of greenery, with desert-like stretches of land spanning for farther than your eye could see. After a long while, you notice how your endless pacing has led you into a desolate expanse.
Just before your tired body decided it was enough, you notice a tiny mirage like projection on the horizon. Taking a closer look you realize it’s a small hut, and as you approached even more, pushing your legs to their limit, you discover that it’s a cluster of buildings.
When you finally made it, you find yourself in a shanty bar, the shuttered boards were dark and creaking as you made any little movement. The patrons of the bar barely lifted their head to see you as you stumbled in, tripping over both sets of your paws. The scraping of your entrance caught the attention of the bar keeper.
“What are you doing out here?” he asks you. Too dehydrated to even think you collapse in the middle of the floor.
Unbeknownst to you how much time had past, you woke up in a daze, laying in a bed, and with a terrible headache. Around you was a typical room, nothing in particular standing out, though the silence from within was enough for you to notice the faint voices coming from outside of the hallway. As you try to get up, you notice something heavy and tight around your ankles and wrists,
“Chains?!” you think to yourself. “Oh no.” You know what’s coming. After short moments of looking around the room for your surroundings you begin to hear footsteps approaching you. The moments had seemed to go past you so quickly as your captors returned, explaining your situation, and the stark realization hit you.
You live out your days as a taur servant for a neighboring kingdom, almost a trophy piece as the princess of the greatest of the five kingdoms; fallen under your parents rule.
