Strange Happenings star star star star star

Midnight. They always came at midnight. The chimes from the old grandfather clock in the den jolted Daniel out of his restless dreams. It wasn't the chimes that woke him so much as the knowledge that They were coming. It was the same horrifying ritual, every single night.

The room was illuminated by an eerie pale green glow. Three figures in haz-mat suits stood around his bed. One of them held a large briefcase, another held a gun, and the third--the apparent leader, from the way he acted--was making entries into a large handheld computer. Daniel tried to escape, to run, to even move, but some unseen force held him in place, as immobile as the bed itself. The leader looked up from his computer and signaled to the one holding the briefcase, who set the case down and began to open it. Daniel strained to see its contents, but couldn't from his position. If only he could move...

The leader reached forward, grabbed the bedcovers and--

The shrill blast of Daniel's alarm clock filled the room. He'd had that dream again, the same one he'd been having every night for nearly a month. Except that it didn't feel like a normal dream. It felt more like a memory, but one that had been partially forgotten. Anyway, Dan had more important things to worry about, so he pushed whatever it was aside for the moment. Today was the last day of school, finally. All he had to do was survive his last few final exams, and he'd be home free. He wasn't about to let a creepy dream get him down.

***

Dr. DiCaoz glanced over his biology classroom. "Is anybody still working on the final?" he asked tiredly. He paused for a moment, then said, "If everybody is finished, you may talk quietly amongst yourselves for the remainder of the period." As the class erupted in chatter, he went back to nursing his hangover.

Daniel loved his biology class. It wasn't just that he was good at it, or that it was the last class of the day. By some bit of luck or fate, he happened to be in the same class as his four closest friends, Gassan, David, Pammy, and Jake. Gassan, David, and Pammy had become absurdly popular since coming to high school. Gassan was Lebanese and therefore "exotic," David was a star swimmer, and Pammy was a cheerleader. In retrospect, popularity was an inevitability. To the other popular kids, Jake an avid follower of the Furry subculture (he called it a craze, but nobody else did) and Daniel, the introspective writer, were social liabilities. Still, Gassan, David, and Pam never let their newfound "friends" keep them away from Jake and Dan. Privately, Daniel was grateful that he had managed to befriend the four people who appeared to be immune to high school drama.

"So, what'd you guys think?" Pammy whispered.

"I'm pretty sure Dr. Di is a nutcase," Gassan answered quickly. He was met with a chorus of approval from his companions.

"Anyway," Pam continued, "are we having our annual Thank-God-The-Schoolyear's-Over party tonight?"

"I can't go," Jake said, "I've got a convention."

"I can't go either," said David, "My dad's taking me camping. He's on a back-to-nature kick."

"I'm visiting my grandma," Gassan said. Pammy rolled her eyes.

"Alright," she sighed, "when do you guys get back?"

"Sunday"

"Sunday evening"

"Sunday, but it'll be late."

"So," Pammy continued, "is Monday night alright with everyone?"

***

The days passed quickly. By the time Monday arrived, he had gone an entire weekend without his mysterious dreams. He was mostly relieved, but part of him wished the visitors would come back so he could find out what they were up to.

The streets were charged with an eerie calm. A summer storm was coming. As Daniel reached Pam's door, he couldn't help but feel a strange foreboding. Something was decidedly wrong. He rang the bell.

"Come in," called Pammy. Dan opened the door and found friend sitting on the floor in a tidy circle. They were all staring at him, an unsettling hunger in their eyes. "We are playing Truth or Dare," Pammy intoned mechanically. "Please, join us. Truth or Dare?"

"Please choose Dare," Gassan said, in the same unearthly voice.

"The Truth is never any fun," agreed David, still in the same tone. Throughout the exchange, none of the four took their eyes off of Daniel.

"Is everything alright?" he asked. "You all seem...different."

Pammy answered in the same monotone as before: "We are collectively unnerved at a series of recurring dreams we have been having. Perhaps you too are experiencing these visions?"

"Yeah," Dan said, "but I'm not acting that weird about it."

"Perhaps," Pammy said, "All will be made more clear if you answer this simple question: Truth...or Dare?"

Rain began to fall, thunder echoed above, lightning weaved itself through the thick storm clouds. But it wasn't the rain that had woken the young man up, no. It was something else, another strange sound. Daniel had blinked his eyes a few times, he was trying to get adjusted to the darkness around him.

His room lit up with lightning, a silver flare followed by a roar of thunder. The wind racked a branch against the window, it caused him to startle a bit. He groaned softly and got himself up from his bed, removing bed sheets. The flat surface of his feet met cold floorboards, which creaked loudly upon impact.

He looked around the room, wondering what was going on. That strange feeling was still about, he couldn't shake it off. Was he possibly dreaming maybe? Something felt weird, the atmosphere and all. "Who's there?" Daniel would call out. He had to find out who was stalking him, who was there with him.

Suddenly two golden orbs peered through the darkest part of the room. The young man went tense. He scratched his head a bit and gulped. "If you don't show yourself, I'll be forced to call the police!" He warned. The figure in the darkness didn't move. Expect those eyes, they blinked slightly.

But just then, there were footsteps. The floorboards creaked under the weight of the shadowed figure. Those bright orbs grew closer and closer to Daniel. His heart started to race, threatening to literally leap out of his throat.

He frantically looked for something to use as a weapon but realized that there wasn't much he could do or use to defend himself. The orbs stopped moving, again they blinked a few times. They seemed to be tinged with a hue of sapphire, with slight gold in the middle. They were odd eyes indeed.

"Sush, now." A voice had said. "No need to be afraid." The voice was ethereal and feminine. It sent a chill down his spine. He was wondering who it belonged to. It was no one that he was familiar with. There was a strange sensation that overcame him. He began to sweat, and his nerves started to quiver.

"Shhhh," The voice once again said. "Relax...." Suddenly he closed his eyes, and everything went dark....

Suddenly an alarm was buzzing, buzzing loudly in his ears. He groaned slightly, the noise was incredibly loud, louder than usual. He shifted about, trying to find the snooze button. He blinked his eyes a few times, grunting. He wondered if whatever happened last night was a dream. He got himself out of bed and groaned. He rubbed his head and felt strange.

In fact, his entire body felt, strange. He blinked a few times. Looking about him. His sight, it wasn't in color, no. It was all grayscale, black and white. He started to panic, did he go color blind? He got himself up and a small yip came from his mouth. He looked toward the mirror on the west wall of his room and gasped.

There standing before him wasn't Daniel, it was the she-wolf! She sat where he sat. Her eyes were different colored, those same eyes that he saw late at night in the darkness. She had long pointed ears, a snout, and thick white fur all over. She also had a very large set of breasts. That was when Daniel looked down and noticed that they were his breasts!

"Calm down" emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

"Calm down," A voice said in Daniel's mind. "This state is only temporary," Daniel looked around himself frantically. Trying to find out where the voice was coming from. He found no one around him, or even in his company. It was just him, well her now he supposed. But still, no one was around.

"Now go to the woods, I'll explain things along the way,"

Daniel wasn't sure what was going on. But he didn't have any women's clothes to put on. He had to sneak into his sister's room, who thankfully was away for a long time. He grabbed a braw and panties and whatever other clothes women wore and got himself dressed. Luckily the voice inside of him told him what to put on.

He grabbed his car keys and hopped on it and turned the key, the car roaring to life. The car drove onward toward the destination of the forest. When he arrived at the forest he unbuckled and shut the car's engine off and looked about.

"Okay, so what the hell is going on, why am I like this? What happened last night?"

"Okay, slow down," The girl's voice inside of him said. "Firstly, I'm Una, and you are Daniel. I was chosen to be your guardian in the other world," she said. "But sadly I had lost my body, my soul was roaming free and if I didn't find a vessel, well my soul would have been lost,"

"Okay, so ugh guardians and soul travel, that much I sort of getting," Said Daniel. "But what in the world are you here for?" He asked.

"There is a great darkness that is about to come to your world, and when darkness threatens to disturb the balance, the Etherial Elders send out Guardians to several chosen humans to bond with," Una said.

"A darkness?" emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

"A darkness?" The man found himself asking out loud.

"Yes, a darkness that will attempt to consume this entire world," The voice said. "Be cautious, for its everywhere, in many forms and shapes,"

"But what does that have to do with you taking over my body?" He asked.

"In my world, we take the shape of animals, but in your world, we are but spheres of light. We have no real shape here in this world, and we can only appear into your world through your dreams,"

"When I came into this world, my body had been weakened. Because I was attacked. Attacked by a force that lingers in the darkness, the same darkness that wishes to destroy your world."

"But do they know where you came from, and where you landed in this world?" Daniel found himself asking.

"Yes, unfortunately. There is no telling what shape they take in this world, but you must be weary in who you trust," she said.

Meanwhile, somewhere not too far off from where Daniel was, Evanna was walking back home from work. Twilight hues cascade upon the evening horizon, the atmosphere seemed rather peaceful in general, almost calming. But there was something lingering in the air, a strange tinge to the atmosphere that had a strange static feel to it.

Her breaths were rapid, and she kept to a jogging pace, trying to reach her destination before full-blown nightfall happened. The small little hovel of Misty River had been having strange events taking place, strange events of people going missing, and odd creatures being spotted in the woods.

The sightings and the disappearances happened so often, many began to worry about it and the Mayor of the town had actually set up a curfew for both adults and minors. All were to remain indoors after nightfall, no one was to be out in the streets at night or they'd be escorted to the nearest station or residence for housing until the dawn.

She heard strange noises; it began to frighten her so. She was panicking, palms sweaty and heart thudding like the rapid beating of a loud drum, it nearly throbbed in her ears practically. She was starting to sprint now. She could see her house, it wasn't too far away. But the strange aura of darkness lingered, following her.

She tripped and yelped loudly. She looked about in a frantic panic. She was wondering how long it would take for her stalker to mount and pin her down, but she saw no one. There was a thick shadow; it almost looked like a dark cloud whooshing toward her.

She gasped, mouth opening nice and wide. Suddenly that thick mass of darkness swarmed inside her gaping maw. Once inside her entire body began to squirm and struggle. She grunted. Bones were popping and snapping out of joint, things were changing within her.

Her breasts began to shrink, and her lady parts began to change to manly bits. She wasn't sure what was happening, but fear gripped her strong. A thick mane of fur wrapped around her head, it was black as midnight. Her eyes had transformed from their violet hue to a matching green.

The transformation subsided, and she was panting and grunting. But she wasn't a she anymore. She was, in fact, a he now. He stood up and looked at himself. "W..what has happened to me!" He would gasp in fright.

"Calm yourself, mortal." A voice would say in his head. "I am controlling your body, I am an entity from another world that is dying and I was excluded from it. Unfortunately, in this world I have a different form then that of my original form in that of my world," The voice began to explain.

"Slow down, slow down! Eve shouted, grunting slightly. The woman wasn’t sure what was going on, but she knew for a fact that it was more different then she possibly could ever imagine. Not only wasn’t she herself, but she was something else entirely.

She looked about herself and wondered. ‘Am I dreaming, is this all really happening?”

The third emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

A few days had passed since Daniel was possessed by the She wolf and Eveanna had changed into bestial forms, a business man was preparing himself for another night alone in his apartment.

The man was alone in a parking lot, eyes flashing back and forth observing the area around him. It was oddly silent, maybe too silent perhaps. He decided to rush eagerly to his vehicle and get inside.

The lights above him began to flicker, providing an ominous buzzing noise that filled the car lot. There was a sound of air whooshing across the lot. It made the man look back and forth rather nervously.

There was a black mist tunneling its way through the parking lot at a fast pace. It was the same kind of particles that formed the wolf spirits that possessed both Eve and Daniel before.

It has dashed between a series of cars that were lined up in a row, and still hasn’t found its proper target. It was getting frustrated. But when it heard something finally move, it got excited.

The large thick mass would soon slither its way through the center of the parking lot and finally found its target. The man was just getting into his car and closing the door. The thick black mist managed to seep its way in through a crack in the window.

Another emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Jason had been busy the past few weeks with a new design project his boss had given him. He had to completely redesign a new form of hotels that would make them more comfortable and more popular than the previous branches of hotels that were already out there.

It was definitely more of an impossible task to overcome. Which for various reasons is why Jason thinks his boss is trying to get him fired. He had not noticed the thick fog hovering about him.

However when his mouth opened, the black mist took action. It shoved itself inside of him and made his throat bulge. The man whined and grunted, attempting to struggle free from the strange thing that was going down inside him.

He felt strange after his mouth closed. His body began to soon feel extremely hot. He began to undo his shirt and grunt softly. He was well toned for a guy of 45 years of age. He could feel his entire body rippling in a series of waves.

He winced and grunted some, feeling the change overcome him. His manly body was soon undergoing that change. His chest was starting to stretch out and form round shapes. His manly hair soon grew thick even more so then it was.

But it wasn’t his hair, it was actually fur! He could feel his ears beginning to stretch upward, his face also began to extend. There was no pain, it was just a smooth transition from man to woman and into beast.
The rest of his body had also undergone the change. He no longer could feel his crotch, and his man clothes felt so different on him now. His eyes frantically looked about. “W-what the hell?”

“Shhh,” A voice whispered. “It is okay, this is part of the change process,” The voice was female and it seemed to come from his lips! He grumbled to himself and spoke in his own voice.

“I knew that I am working way to hard, now my mind is playing tricks. Bet I’m asleep at the desk making a nice long drool puddle,” He attempted to smack himself awake, he even went as far as pinching himself.

But the reality of it all was this, he was awake. He was in a woman’s body and worst of all, he looked like a werewolf!

“I have chosen you; like I am sure my other kin have chosen others around this world to take on your body. In this world we look like thick masses of dust, but in our world we are like this,”

“But what are you doing, why are you doing this? Is this some kind of alien invasion of sorts?”
“You can say that,” The female spoke. “But not necessarily. For you see our world is starting to slowly rot away, we had heard rumors that there was an ancient artifact in your world that possibly could cure our world,”

“So, in order to get into our world, you have to capture bodies of humans and shift them into your forms, to be able to remain in your forms, yes?”

“Pretty much, now, we have to go find my master, I’m sure that Drakus is more than eager to find me and have me report,”

“Who is this Drakus?”

“He is our leader, he is attempting to aid those that want to find salvation in the new world, but there are some that think he’s evil and sinister,”

“Are there others, like others that are going to be possessed like me?”

The woman would let out a laugh and provide a slight grin. “You can say that, there are five of us in each group, so I’m sure there will be more, I can already tell that two of the five from our other group have already taken on their bodies, including yourself so now that is three, so two more to go!”

Gator person emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Meanwhile, way far away from where the car lot was, in fact deep in the Louisiana bayou there was a woman hard at work wrestling an agitated gator. It was her duty to calm the gators and relocate them and keep people safe from them.

There were many houses on the water and many of the gators scared most of the folk that lived in them. That was why they had hired her most of the time. She was a born and raised gator wrestler. She had wrestled her first gator when she was 10 years old and even made a pair of skin boots from it.

Those boots in which she still has till this very day. Water splashed all over her face and body, soaking her blouse and clothes. The gator would hiss and growl as her arms wrapped around his snout, preventing it from snapping its jaws.
The woman had managed to get some rope around the gator’s mouth and then tied a thick knot to clamp its mouth shut permanently. She would then reach for her belt for a syringe and stabbed it into the creature’s belly.

She injected the medicine into the gator that would knock him out in seconds. The woman sighed heavily and whipped her brow with all the sweat that was dripping from her forehead. She had called for help to load the gator into the boat and have him properly moved.

Once that was all said and done, she herself had retired for the night. The young woman was physically exhausted once she had entered her small log cabin. She closed the door behind her and then locked the deadbolt. She looked around herself curiously.

Silent Atmosphere emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

She had noticed that the atmosphere surrounding her had gone completely silent. She looked out a window and gazed outside. Yes, all the noises of the night had gone silent, nothing stirred.

“That’s odd,” She would say to herself. Her eyes looked around the entire place, seeing absolutely no movement anywhere. Not even the wind had stirred the trees around the area.

She decided to shrug it off and then go about her business. She began to cook herself dinner, she was calm and relaxed now after hours had passed. She sat on her favorite couch and was eating a dish of her favorite version of Gumbo. Her Granny’s top recipe.

A black mist had formed outside the woman’s house. It was swirling and twisting in various spirals drastically. It was attempting to find a way inside the cabin. Most of the windows had been locked shut and any cracks or openings were closed off in some way shape or form.

But at last the mist had found a way inside. The basement had been left open from the previous time someone was inside of it. The mist shot through the opened basement and then rushed upward through the floorboards.

The woman was half asleep now in front of the TV, snoring loudly. The mist crept its way toward the snoring woman, her mouth agape. It was a perfect target for it to go inside. The mist would swoop over toward the woman’s mouth and she would gasp.

Her Change emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

She lurched upwards and gasped slightly. His eyes flashed back and forth observing her surroundings. She hadn’t noticed that the thick mist had gone into her but something felt really off.

She gasped and felt herself move forward. She could feel a twinge of pain shoot through her entire body, it felt excruciating. She wanted to cry almost, tears swelling in her eyes. She looked about gasping.

Her fingers would grasp the edge of the sofa that she sat on, panting and grunting. She felt her body heat begin to rise, and suddenly felt extremely odd. Her skin started to sprout thick grayish brown fur all over her form. She whined, almost dog like.

She felt herself fall onto all fours now. She was practically screaming at the top of her lungs in agony. She could feel the fire overwhelm her insides. She panted and groaned, sweat dripping off her brow. All her muscles rippled and shook as her body under gone the change.

Her breasts deflated and soon were nice and smooth chest plates. Her abdomen flexed with muscles and soon she began to take on more of a manly form now. Her face started stretching. This part of the change was possibly the most painful part of the process.

Her teeth began to fall out and soon were replaced by hands. Her nose had pushed inward and soon was a flat nose. She would close her eyes, praying that the nightmare would at last end. But then a flash of light soon ignited throughout the entire room.

She gasped loudly as if she got out of the water after swimming. She looked around herself. All the lights had gone off, so was her TV. The power had gone out. She cleared her throat and noticed something was already off. It was the way she coughed.

It didn’t sound like her cough, it was something different. It was more, masculine. She blinked a little confused. She got herself up and then noticed how incredibly tall she was now. She was beginning to panic now. She looked

She took deep breaths and looked at herself. She gasped, wondering why on earth she was covered in thick fur! Panic began to strike her now. She quickly rushed toward the bathroom and looked at the mirror and nearly fell over on her ass at the sight that came forth to her.

“Like the rest I have taken over your body,” A male voice seeped out through her thoughts. This startled her very much so. The male wolf that now was looking at the mirror had spoken. Her voice wasn’t the same; this whole thing was extremely confusing.

She/he had found himself walking toward the open window. His paw would extend forward and open up. A small sphere of light would soon appear in his palm. It stared out rather small and shimmering. Pretty soon though, the sphere would begin to grow and grow.

The man would then thrust it forward. The large ball of light shot forth up into the air and soon exploded into thousands of particles.

Meanwhile, elsewhere Daniel, as well as the others had gone away from their homes and met together. It was so strange to see so many strangers before them, especially all the same species and different genders.
“Oh come on, the signal should have been lit already,” Whined Daniel’s feminine voice.

“We have to get rid of these other personalities; they are really a downer, complaining all the time,” The Louisiana woman said grumbling to herself. Suddenly the large sphere of light was at last visible to those that were gazing at the sky to see it explode.

The others soon vanished out of thin air, and then found themselves at the center of five stone pillars circling around each other. The others were very confused as to where they had been sent too, that is until the Alpha of the pack finally came into sight.

“Sir, it is so good to see you, Nightmoon,” Said the woman wolf who possessed Daniel.

“And it is great to see you as well, Sharp Paw, Moontear, Twisted Branch,” The Alpha said clearing his throat.

The Stone emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

“We are all gathered here today, because of one reason. “To find the Howling Stone beneath this sacred piece of land and to return it to the world where it rightfully belongs,”

They all gathered around the stones, placing their paws onto them, closing their eyes. They had all grasped their hands together and began to chant in a strange tongue.

The stones that surrounded them began to illuminate. The light coming from the stones soon began to spiral toward the center of the platform in which they rested on. The lights combined and a blast of energy soon shuttered throughout the entire woods.

The ground began to shiver and quake violently. The trees trembled and the ground quivered, a howling wind rushed throughout the forest. The entire forest was alive and all the animals shrieked and hollered at the magical display that was occurring.

Suddenly coming out from the ground was a bright glowing stone. Much different than the stones that surrounded it of course, it was a crystal. It was massive and shimmering bright with radiant colors.

“The Stone of Life,” Whispered the Alpha in pure amazement. “Never have I thought that I’d live to see the day it comes forth to revive our dying realm,” He said.

"What does it do?" emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

What does it do?” One of the others had asked curiously.

“Haven’t you learned anything in your history lessons?” The Alpha would bark aggressively. “This stone is the corner stone of all life in any realm,” He said. “Once it is obtained by the one who plucks it from the earth, they are capable of either destroying or renewing a realm,”

“So, that means it can be very dangerous,” Daniel’s womanly voice chimed in.

“Very much so.” The Alpha said. “Which is why I am in charge of keeping the stone away from the greatest of evil that would misuse its power,”

“What if that evil is already here?” The manly voice of the Louisiana woman would inquire.

“I’d like to thank you all, for getting this lovely stone out of the ground for me,” Another voice said. A figure soon stepped out from the forest. It was a massive male black wolf with bright green eyes.

He looked more savage then the others, his fur also had strange red spiral like patterns embroider on his fur. He smirked wide and raised a hand in the air. The stone soon flung toward him and he grasped it. The stone pulsated with thick light.

The others would gasp in fright at the sight of the other male that was before them. “Nigrum Thom!” The alpha said growling. The wolf looked at the male before him with a snarl.

“Give back the stone, now!” He barked. “You cannot do this to the world that we know and love,”

The others had gathered around the black wolf in threatening poses. They each had balls of energy flowing through their paws right now. Aggressive features were written upon everyone’s faces.

“You shall not get away with destroying our home,” Barked one of the four changed.

“Oh but I already have,” The alpha said sneering. “I have been waiting for this day, for a long time.” He said walking up to the others. A quick flick of his wrist and their magic was soon extinguished.

“The four of you, are nothing compared to what I can do,” He snarled.

“Then why weren’t you capable of pulling the stone out from the ground yourself then hmm?” The alpha inquired.

“Now, that was the tricky part you see. I knew that the stone wouldn’t come to me, someone who’s caused so much destruction, death and decay.” He said. “But then again, I didn’t have to pull the stone out. Once I began to destroy our little realm, well I knew that some brave heroes would arise to conquer the challenge,”

“So, you knew all along about the Corner Stone of Life, and planned this all out all by yourself, to attempt to destroy the rest of the world?”

“Yes, and then I plan to use the Corner Stone of Life to reshape the world in my own vision, the way our world was meant to be seen,” He snarled.

“What has happened to you Bella, what has changed you so much to make you like this?” The alpha inquired.

“I know not of this Bella, of whom you speak, that person has long since gone from this body, a long time ago,” The black wolf smiled softly and extended a claw. That claw would soon glide across the Corner Stone of Life. A shuttering pulsating light shot through the stone.

That burst of light soon flooded the entire forest and something strange began to happen. All the trees around them began to wilt. All their leaves began to fall off rather drastically. All the birds that were in them began to fall like rocks to the ground, dead. All the plant life and growth that surrounded the pack had began to wilt and wither.

“Everything is dying!” Daniel’s she wolf would exclaim as she looked about frantically at all the dead things that surrounded her.

“Yes, soon everything in this world will die, it will rot away and leave everyone in it at the mercy of themselves.”

“Why are you putting this world in that kind of danger, what did this planet ever do to you?” Snarled the Alpha.

“I do not plan on destroying just one world, I plan on conquering them all,” He said. “I have great plans to shape the galaxy in my own vision, its time for the era of foolish dreams to be at its end,”

While the black wolf was talking to himself about his plans for world domination and conquest, another figure had appeared from the shadows. It was stepping forth toward the black wolf, ready to take the Corner Stone from him while he was occupied.

The figure had bright amethyst eyes that glowed brightly and intense. The others didn’t say a word as he reached and grasped for the stone with quick reflexes. The black wolf was taken aback by this.

“How dare you do this, brother.” Snarled the she wolf as her eyes flashed toward the black wolf. “I thought mother and father raised you better.”

“Mother and father didn’t give a rats ass about me,” He snarled. “It has always been about poor little you.” Sneered the wolf. “Pampering you, giving you everything you whined for,”

“While me, well. Whenever I asked for something ,I had to do things the hard way.” He would say sniffling slightly. “Mother and father saw me as the next one to take the throne, but they saw you as their beloved daughter. The one they can cater and pamper,”

“Don’t have a go at me brother. Look at what this hatred has done to you, you aren’t the same anymore,”

“Of course I’m not!” He barked aggressively. “I am much better then that poor pathetic version of myself I once was,” He said. “I have changed drastically for sure, and it is permanent.”

“What you are doing is wrong brother, no matter how angry you are with me, or your parents and the past.” She said calmly. “What you can do however is decide. Whether you want this to be your final fate, or if you want to make changes for the better,”

The black wolf growled slightly. “You mean you want me to give up everything that I have fought for, everything that I did?” He snarled.

The woman looked at him. “All of your sins will be forgiven, if you step back now,” She said not moving her eyes away from her brother. “Please, do this for me,” She reached up for her brother to embrace him.

The black wolf was hesitating for a moment, and in that single moment a small tear had escaped from his muzzle and trickled down from his snout.
