Reality Hopping star star star emptystar emptystar

In this story you can hop between realities following these rules:

No more then

These measurements are based on your home reality.

Your home reality is the one where you start your journey from.

When you hop to another reality you switch your mind with anybody who is there already.

If you hop to a different reality then your home reality from another reality then:

Reality 3 contains you.
Reality 2 contains the person from reality 3
Your home reality contains the person from reality 2

If someone dies then the person whose reality he/she home reality changes to that of the person who died. (Using the example above , if the person in your home reality dies your home reality becomes reality 2. If the person in reality 2 dies then the home reality of the person from reality 2 becomes
3.)

Wait.... am I really in another reality? emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

You open your eyes, shielding them from the bright light as they adjust. As everything dims down, you find yourself in a small wooden shack, laying in a small bed. It isn't fancy, just a mattress to provide cushioning, and a thin blanket that doesn't do much to shield from the cold.

Pulling the sheet off, you climb out of bed and look around. The room is a little spartan. An old wooden dresser is pressed firmly against the wall to the left of the bed, barely big enough to hold more than a dozen articles of clothing, with a tiny window just above it, sun light shining through. To the right of your bed is a doorway, no door, leading to another room.

You walk over to the dressed, open it up, and to your surprise find your clothes in there. Not the clothes you'd think someone else would wear. These are the clothes you had back in your world. Same pants, shirt, socks, and underwear.

Almost immediately, you feel something's not right. Still barefoot, you walk to the other room, and find it appears to be a small living room and kitchen, a small coal stove in the corner with a metal pipe snaking out above it, through the roof. There is a small TV in another corner of the room, an old CRT box tv, like those made at the turn of the century before flat screens became common place, with a 2 seater sofa facing it directly.

Glancing around, you try to find a mirror to look into, and see one over a sink. As you approach it, the feeling of dread slowly comes over you, and as soon as your reflection comes into view, it's quickly replaced by shock.

Staring back at you, the body you are in, is yours! The exact same body you had before you jumped. Every detail, from the length and color of your hair, to the size of your feet and color of your skin, is the same. Even you're underwear is the same as before. What is going on here? Did you really jump to another reality, or is someone pulling a prank and actually shipped you off somewhere in your world? And if you did jump, did that mean there was more than one of you, other versions of you in other worlds?

Zoo emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Perhaps if the house has not changed the area outside has? Looking outside you see what used to be houses down the hill across the road has been replaced by a zoo. And not just any zoo but a large sized one. Also it seems like they are having a promotion to celebrate their grand opening.

Heading over you find that the entry is free for the first week, unfortunately most of the animals are yet to arrive. You also are handed a map and find out the hill is only the front of the zoo, the plains behind it also are now part of the zoo. There also seems to be an aquatic area, an aviary, and a reptile house. It seems this zoo will have every kind of animal imaginable, once they have arrived.

You ask the guide "What happened with the animals that has delayed them."

He sighs "Well we ran into some problems in our last location. People ended up missing and we got blamed, so the animals are still there while we set up here. Once we are settled, then we can move the animals here. What is your favorite animal by the way?"

Werewolf emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

The guide's question caught you off guard. Your mind was still trying to grasp the bizarre reality you found yourself in, and now you were being asked about your favorite animal. It felt like a mundane question in an utterly surreal situation.

"Uh, I don't know... I guess wolves are pretty cool," you replied, your voice slightly shaky. Wolves, you thought, considering the strangeness of your current predicament, seemed like an appropriate choice.

The guide nodded, seemingly satisfied with your answer. "Great choice! Wolves are majestic creatures. Hey, speaking of which, have you heard about our special exhibit? We're planning to have a unique section dedicated to werewolves. It's going to be a real crowd-puller."

Your mind raced as you processed the guide's words. Werewolves? The thought of being associated with such mythical creatures added another layer of absurdity to your situation. You felt a mix of confusion, disbelief, and a growing sense of unease.

The guide continued, "In fact, we're looking for someone to be our star werewolf. We want someone charismatic, someone who can connect with the visitors. It's a paying gig, and you'd be a part of a groundbreaking exhibit! What do you say?"

You hesitated, trying to make sense of the situation. The guide's words about missing people and being blamed for it echoed in your mind. Was this some elaborate scheme, or had you truly crossed into another reality where werewolves were a thing, and you were about to become an exhibit in a zoo?

"Wait, are you telling me there are real werewolves?" you asked, your disbelief evident in your voice.

The guide chuckled. "Well, not in the traditional sense, of course. We're talking about theatrical, entertaining werewolves. People love a good show, and our visitors will be thrilled to see a werewolf in action. It's all in good fun, you know."

With a mixture of curiosity and trepidation, you decided to follow the guide to the werewolf exhibit. The guide led you through winding paths within the zoo, passing by enclosures that were still being set up for various animals. The anticipation of what you might find at the werewolf exhibit gnawed at you, and you couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this than just a quirky job offer.

Eventually, you arrived at a fenced area marked "Werewolf Exhibit." The enclosure was designed to resemble a moonlit forest, complete with artificial trees, rocks, and a small pond. As you stepped inside, you were struck by the attention to detail. It was both eerie and captivating.

The guide gestured towards the center of the exhibit. "This is where we'll showcase the transformation. We've got special effects, fog machines, the works. The audience will be in for a treat!"

The gate creaked shut behind you, echoing through the artificial moonlit forest of the werewolf exhibit. You turned, a sudden sense of unease prickling at your skin. The zookeeper, wearing a slightly unnerving smile, spoke again, "Thank you for joining us. We're thrilled to have you as the star of our werewolf exhibit."

The friendly facade of the zoo experience now felt like a thin veil, and you couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this than a simple entertainment show. The questions about the missing people and the circumstances of your arrival resurfaced with renewed intensity.

As the moonlight's intensity reached its zenith, an invisible force seemed to seize control of your very being. It started with a tingling, like a thousand tiny needles pricking your skin. The air crackled with an otherworldly energy, and your body responded to a primal rhythm.

Your arms, once human, now became the focal point of the metamorphosis. The tingling sensation intensified, and you watched in disbelief as fine, silvery hairs burst forth from your skin. They multiplied at an alarming rate, covering your arms in a rapidly spreading coat of fur. It was as if the moonlight itself wove this fur into existence, an intricate pattern of silver and gray.

The transformation extended to your hands, fingers elongating and melding into sinuous claws. Each digit became a tapered, razor-sharp appendage, resembling the deadly talons of a predator. The bones beneath your skin shifted and reshaped, adapting to the new form that was emerging.

As the fur reached your neck, you felt a subtle stretching sensation. Your spine realigned, and your posture shifted as if guided by an unseen force. The transformation continued downward, enveloping your torso in a dense layer of fur. The contours of your human physique blurred and transformed into a more streamlined, powerful shape.

A peculiar sense of duality overwhelmed you — part fascination, part horror — as your legs underwent a similar transformation. Your feet reshaped into powerful paws, and your toes merged into three distinct digits, each ending in a sharp claw.

The final phase of the transformation affected your face. Your nose elongated into a snout, and your teeth shifted, growing sharper and more pronounced. Your senses heightened, and a surge of newfound instincts flooded your consciousness. The once-human visage gave way to that of an anthro wolf, a creature that straddled the line between man and beast.

The moonlit forest bore witness to the completion of your metamorphosis. Standing as an anthropomorphic wolf, you marveled at your new form. The silver and gray fur glistened in the ethereal light, and your eyes, now a shade of amber, reflected the primal spirit that dwelled within.

The howl that escaped your transformed throat echoed through the surreal landscape, a proclamation of the enigmatic journey you had unwittingly embarked upon. As the reality of your existence shifted, the mysteries of this strange world unfolded, and you, the star of the werewolf exhibit, embraced the role with a blend of trepidation and newfound understanding.
