For some reason you couldn’t help yourself as you moved in to try stopping her from absorbing the dark ashen cinders of what was left. Your paws he tangled up in themselves trying to take her on, and in your quick rage you tripped in the wet puddle of a mess you had made and slammed your head into the corner of a table. Your memory began to fade away. The last thing you remembered was your mother's face staring up at you evilly as she coaxed you further into your confused haze.
