In a room star star star star halfstar

The sign reads

"Welcome all new travellers.

To continue you must go through a series of doors.

After going through you will pick a costume. You will then become a half- human and half that creature.

After a week(100 mins a hour,20 hrs a day,10 days a week) has passed you may morph and get another costume. To start of with you will only be able to become 40% human to 60% human.

If you put on a costume you will then become that creature, be teleported to it's home town and have to wait a week before being able to morph.

After 50 costumes you may change into one of your other costumes and become 30% to 70% human. When changing costumes you must wait at least an hour before you can change costumes again.

100 different species/gender costumes allows you to gender-morph and become 20% to 80% human

200 different species costumes allows you to combine costumes and become 10% to 90% human

400 different species costumes allows you to return to your world with no more morphing

And 800 different species costumes makes a polymorph and allows you to morph outside of this world.

Also if you have a costume like a centaur then the human part will always be human and is counted towards the human percentage.

Any gender/species transformation magic of yours can only change your gender(if you have at least 100 costumes) and the animal part to a different animal.

When you change into a different costume (that you already have) you may teleport to that species home town but you will have the week penalty where you have no costume changes.

If you die while wearing a costume you will be reborn at the local inn (or appropriate location ). If you have more then 100 costumes you will lose the costume you had when you died and go to an appropriate place for your next costume.

If you fail to make it out in 100 years(100 weeks in a year) one of your possible forms will be chosen and you will be permanently stuck in that form(apart from magic) until you die. Also there will be no possibility of going back to your world.

Also, one final note: should you take a female form and become pregnant, you won't be able to change your gender until the child is born, though the other aspects of your form may change (the child will change to match.) That is all, and good luck!

You realise that you have to do what the sign said to do and go through the doors and grab a costume.

Griffon emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

You stand before a large wardrobe filled to the brim with strange and unique costumes of creatures and animals. Among the many outfits you find one in particular which catches the eye and imagination. It happens to be a gryphon and by the looks of it, a male gryphon. But you feel adventurous tonight so it incites your mind. You simply must try it on. As you open the zipper in the back, the suit opens like a shell. Wonder and excitement fill you as the fabric tightens to your skin. The now becomes you; transformed by it; morphed into a magnificent gryphon, standing tall over everything. Though you've been forced to all fours by the suit, your body grows with it and you tower over even your human form. At six foot five you stand proudly with several shades of orange and crimson coating your feathers and fur. You now have talons instead of toes, paws instead of legs and arms, fur and feathers rather than smooth skin, and wings and tail which were not there before. With your transformation complete, you stand for a moment, wrapping your mind around what has just occurred. A voice can be heard coming from the wardrobe, just a slight whisper, "For 14 days you must become that which you've chosen." You feel a great push against your back and legs as you're inched closer to the wardrobe. White light envelops you and surrounds you, blinding you as you travel from this world to another.
Shockingly bright, white light now greets you to a midday. Birds chirp and forest sounds surround you in epic wonder. As you take your first steps you realize that the world to which you've been transported isn't the only new thing; you're walking on all fours; all four paws that is. You've also grown wings and male mane, accompanied by other male features. You ARE a male gryphon, a magnificent male gryphon, bristling with rending talons and a strong beak. The sun is reflected in your beautiful crimson coat. Your red sheen shines out brightly amongst the barren, desolate pillar as you find yourself in this new world.

At the bottom emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Peeking over the edge, you can see nothing but forest and scarce spots of water for miles out. The forest is alive with noises and movement. The hustle and bustle of this world's wildlife seems unimpeded by your arrival. Instead, it moves on and does as it should, as it must, and as it is, as must you. As you move closer to the edge, however, you lean a bit too far and topple forward down the edge of the steep pillar. The fall is cut short and you land in a trail cut away but water which carries you against your struggles toward a massive pool of water at the bottom. The scenery whizzes by you as you descend. Large mammals and small rodents, the likes of which you've never witnessed before, scurry and scamper from the edges of the pool as you crash into it. Deeply plunged into the shimmering water, you react violently as your instincts take over. Bone bends, flesh and fur too; muscles meld them to the task of swimming. Adrenaline now takes over and consumes your body; within the blink of an eye you've made it to shore. It takes a few moments for the adrenaline to run it's course and for calm to return.

Feeding emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Unfamiliar trees and odd sounds unnerve you, yet beckon you onward into the unknown before you. Driven by your veracious hunger, you venture onward and into the forest. The thickness of your paws and the instinct to hunt allow you to traverse the rough ground with utter ease. With ears keenly sensing about you in every direction and your movements swift but smooth, you hunt. A small animal crosses your path and you strike out at it swiftly. The initial strike falls short and the creature gets a lead away from you. It's smaller size does not lend it the speed to keep you away though and your second strike rings out clear as day. Now, with your meal in maw you return to your pillar. Setting down at the base of the monolythe structure, you devour your prey as the sun begins to set on your day and it comes to a close. You lay peacefully on your side at the base of the pillar with a full belly. Sleep takes you until the next morn.

In the morning and a choice emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Your second day comes with the morning shining down upon you and the rest of last night's meal being gone over by a scavenger bird. Without much effort you swat at the bird and knock it down for your second meal. Having had breakfast you are now faced with a truly difficult choice. Being that you're here, presumably for 14 days, you must decide if you are going to stay put at the pillar or if you're going to try and venture out into this new fantastic world. Which will you choose?

Moving out emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Deciding that adventure lies on the horizon you begin preparing for you journey. Your direction is north and with having taken a full belly of food and water you're ready to leave. The first itches gather under your wings and you feel ready. In a massive motion of feather and muscle you leap into the air wings spread wide and gathering air beneath them. Everything becomes smaller and smaller as you rise and sore. The sky guides you and cradles you along your journey. Flying fast and elegantly allows you to journey quicker than on paw. The sun shines through the clouds like heaven light as you speed along. For hours and hours you fly and observe. Finally, as the sun begins to set, you venture down towards the ground again and slow among the trees. The flora surrounds you once more as you return to paw upon ground. A small grove of trees ahead of your path form a small cove. It seems a perfect bed for the night so you take refuge and retire. The beauty of your new world now recedes as you slip into dreamland. Illusions and shapes plague your mind as you slumber but are mostly malign.

First Kill emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Your morning comes slowly as the somewhat sleepless night you've had is compounded by the damp early morning ground. The sun still rises from behind the trees as you prepare yourself for the morning hunt. The freshly dew covered grass crunches ever so slightly beneath you with every paw step. A large mammal is laying, unbeknownst to your presence, a few feet before you. With every muffled movement you edge closer to your meal and then strike. The blow is quick and the effect immediate. With a snap of your beak and a rend of one well placed talon, you've slit the creature's throat and taken it's life. You proceed to devour your meal just as the sun breaks the treetops, beckoning you to the sky once more. Just as you've had your fill you take to the sky again. The air lifts you again while all sounds on the ground disappear. Clouds become your friends and southward winds your enemy. Most of your day is spent battling the fierce oncoming winds but regardless of the challenges, flying remains your greatest experience. A tinge of withdrawal envelopes you as you are finally forced to land for the evening. A small cave dots the the only clearing for over a mile and seems a fine resting place for the night. You recede into it's small depths and sleep heavily, exhausted from the day's activities.

Storm emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Day four is thrust upon you as water drips repeatedly upon your maw. The feeling causes terrible nightmares and when you finally wake you find yourself breathing heavily and longing for security. The sky and the wonder of flight fills you before the thoughts are dashed by the crack of light thunder on the horizon. The wind whips into the cave bringing the rain with it. With a full belly and the rain keeping your from journeying you decide to wait most of the day out. When it becomes apparent that the rain will not lift you have no choice but to venture out for a meal. The rain blankets the ground and obscures your vision quite heavily. To exacerbate things, all the wildlife seems to have vanished; taken cover amongst the dense foliage. To your good fortune, however, you happen across a bush of berries which seem edible. Grabbing most of the plant into your maw, you hurry off with it quickly back to the cave. The meal is light but suffices for the remainder of the short and dreary day. Eventually you hunker down into your cave and try to shut out the weather as it rips across the surfaces of the world.

More Storm emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Sunlight is still absent I the world when you wake to loud crashes of thunder and wicked flashes of white lightning. Fear stems from your chest as you're jolted awake and it takes minutes before you've calmed. Once you have, you realize the water is rising and the cave is beginning to fill. With no other option you must run into the morning devoid of sunlight and find high ground. A grove of trees a ways north of the cave offer high ground and a small bit of shelter from the driving rain. The howl of the wind rings throughout your ears as you try to think of what to do. You've not eaten today and the storm has scattered all food so hunting is nigh impossible until the water recedes. Until then you must wait. The day drags slowly on as you huddle under the trees and daydream about flying, flight being your only wish right now. Each passing hour comes with more rain and more longing. You cannot help but watch as the water level grows closer and closer to. The wind picks up even more, however, and you struggle the best you can against it. It takes most of your energy just to keep your balance among the storm's fury. The water eventually comes to your paws once more and you're forced to flee up the trees and into the wind's path. Trees whip about violently and muddy rivers dot the landscape from your vantage point. Exhaustion eventually takes you sometime late in the night and you fall into a deep slumber atop the trees.

Fishing emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

With luck and skill your body manages to stay aloft even as you slept and now you wake. The sky is once again rejoined by the sun and the waters are beginning to fade. Your hunger causes you to lurch forward from where you are sitting and the branches give way. Time stops for a moment as you fall and then speeds by infinitely quick as you slam into the water below. Scrambling for the nearest dry surface you grab a hold of a floating vine and pull yourself to the trees. Now safe on somewhat dry land you must find something to eat. Realizing that none of the usual creatures are around you get an odd idea. It truly does seem off, but then, it might work anyway. You dive back into the murky water you had just crawled out of. Your goal is to find fish that may have floated throughout the water as it rose during the storm. The search takes a good long while and several trips up for air are needed.

...time to fly emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Eventually you find but a single small fish. The morsel slips into your maw with ease as you overtake in the water. The fish tastes excellent and before you can swallow it you feel you want another. However, try as you might you cannot find another. After about an hour you give up and return to the trees to dry off. With only a small fish to feed you you're feeling hungrier than before. A bird flies overhead and gives you another idea. Why not fly to catch your food? You loved flying anyway and food was what you needed right now so you take off after the birds. The wonderful feeling of soaring fills you again as the sky holds you in warm embrace. The birds do not have a chance against your flying and are quickly run down. After eating you spend most of the day flying and enjoying yourself. Nothing else seems to be bothering you. Night comes and you sleep as you had before but this time it comes much more peacefully.

Climb emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

The bright morning sun bakes your fur as you lay on the ground, waking slowly. The water has finally left and the skies remain clear. After sunbathing for a while you take off again on your journey. The ground becomes smaller as you fly high and fast. Everything screams past you in a flury of sound and light. The horizon and the ground meld as you jet through the air. The forest leads to an end at the base of a mountain. Deciding a change of scenery sounds good, you dip low toward the mountain and touch down on what appears to be a path. The many greens and sounds of wildlife are replaced with the grey and blue rocky masses about you. The only sounds come from a few bugs, scattered few and far between as well as the light evening wind whistling through the many caves and outcroppings on the face of the mountain. Traveling by paw up the the side of the mountain you catch every sight there is to behold. The grand view and crisp air leave you breathless. The astounding beauty strikes at your heart. You suddenly hope you don't return to your other world anytime soon. The hike up the mountain takes hours but it is well rewarded as more and more of the landscape becomes visible. Once near the top you are taken by the sunset that flies overhead. Beautiful shades of red and violet pierce the late evening sky as the sun sinks.

Cold emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

he sky isn't the only thing changing however. The weather is getting colder as you ascend the mountain side and with the sun setting it is cooling even more. You have to get to the other side and find somewhere for the night before the dark and cold get to you. Never have you tried to fly in the dark and it isn't easy for you. Thankfully you've got a few minutes of light left. For what seems like an eternity you continue to fly higher and higher into the frigid air. The freezing temperatures begin to effect your wings and your muscles hurt from the great stress. Just as you finally cross the top your wings give out. You try to control your decent but your speed picks up as you near the rock face. The gray becomes a black as the last bits of light fade. The lack of moonlight leaves you nearly totally blind. At the last moment you're able to right yourself and stop from slamming into the mountain side. The only problem now being that you've no where to land. You cannot see and scent doesn't help you here. Trying your best to keep calm, you descend again, slower than before. As the first bits of rock are felt under your paws you let up on your wings and you do not fall. You feel around for what seems like hours until you finally collapse on the ledge and sleep deeply.
