In a room star star star star halfstar

The sign reads

"Welcome all new travellers.

To continue you must go through a series of doors.

After going through you will pick a costume. You will then become a half- human and half that creature.

After a week(100 mins a hour,20 hrs a day,10 days a week) has passed you may morph and get another costume. To start of with you will only be able to become 40% human to 60% human.

If you put on a costume you will then become that creature, be teleported to it's home town and have to wait a week before being able to morph.

After 50 costumes you may change into one of your other costumes and become 30% to 70% human. When changing costumes you must wait at least an hour before you can change costumes again.

100 different species/gender costumes allows you to gender-morph and become 20% to 80% human

200 different species costumes allows you to combine costumes and become 10% to 90% human

400 different species costumes allows you to return to your world with no more morphing

And 800 different species costumes makes a polymorph and allows you to morph outside of this world.

Also if you have a costume like a centaur then the human part will always be human and is counted towards the human percentage.

Any gender/species transformation magic of yours can only change your gender(if you have at least 100 costumes) and the animal part to a different animal.

When you change into a different costume (that you already have) you may teleport to that species home town but you will have the week penalty where you have no costume changes.

If you die while wearing a costume you will be reborn at the local inn (or appropriate location ). If you have more then 100 costumes you will lose the costume you had when you died and go to an appropriate place for your next costume.

If you fail to make it out in 100 years(100 weeks in a year) one of your possible forms will be chosen and you will be permanently stuck in that form(apart from magic) until you die. Also there will be no possibility of going back to your world.

Also, one final note: should you take a female form and become pregnant, you won't be able to change your gender until the child is born, though the other aspects of your form may change (the child will change to match.) That is all, and good luck!

You realise that you have to do what the sign said to do and go through the doors and grab a costume.

Griffon emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

You stand before a large wardrobe filled to the brim with strange and unique costumes of creatures and animals. Among the many outfits you find one in particular which catches the eye and imagination. It happens to be a gryphon and by the looks of it, a male gryphon. But you feel adventurous tonight so it incites your mind. You simply must try it on. As you open the zipper in the back, the suit opens like a shell. Wonder and excitement fill you as the fabric tightens to your skin. The now becomes you; transformed by it; morphed into a magnificent gryphon, standing tall over everything. Though you've been forced to all fours by the suit, your body grows with it and you tower over even your human form. At six foot five you stand proudly with several shades of orange and crimson coating your feathers and fur. You now have talons instead of toes, paws instead of legs and arms, fur and feathers rather than smooth skin, and wings and tail which were not there before. With your transformation complete, you stand for a moment, wrapping your mind around what has just occurred. A voice can be heard coming from the wardrobe, just a slight whisper, "For 14 days you must become that which you've chosen." You feel a great push against your back and legs as you're inched closer to the wardrobe. White light envelops you and surrounds you, blinding you as you travel from this world to another.
Shockingly bright, white light now greets you to a midday. Birds chirp and forest sounds surround you in epic wonder. As you take your first steps you realize that the world to which you've been transported isn't the only new thing; you're walking on all fours; all four paws that is. You've also grown wings and male mane, accompanied by other male features. You ARE a male gryphon, a magnificent male gryphon, bristling with rending talons and a strong beak. The sun is reflected in your beautiful crimson coat. Your red sheen shines out brightly amongst the barren, desolate pillar as you find yourself in this new world.

At the bottom emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Peeking over the edge, you can see nothing but forest and scarce spots of water for miles out. The forest is alive with noises and movement. The hustle and bustle of this world's wildlife seems unimpeded by your arrival. Instead, it moves on and does as it should, as it must, and as it is, as must you. As you move closer to the edge, however, you lean a bit too far and topple forward down the edge of the steep pillar. The fall is cut short and you land in a trail cut away but water which carries you against your struggles toward a massive pool of water at the bottom. The scenery whizzes by you as you descend. Large mammals and small rodents, the likes of which you've never witnessed before, scurry and scamper from the edges of the pool as you crash into it. Deeply plunged into the shimmering water, you react violently as your instincts take over. Bone bends, flesh and fur too; muscles meld them to the task of swimming. Adrenaline now takes over and consumes your body; within the blink of an eye you've made it to shore. It takes a few moments for the adrenaline to run it's course and for calm to return.

Feeding emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Unfamiliar trees and odd sounds unnerve you, yet beckon you onward into the unknown before you. Driven by your veracious hunger, you venture onward and into the forest. The thickness of your paws and the instinct to hunt allow you to traverse the rough ground with utter ease. With ears keenly sensing about you in every direction and your movements swift but smooth, you hunt. A small animal crosses your path and you strike out at it swiftly. The initial strike falls short and the creature gets a lead away from you. It's smaller size does not lend it the speed to keep you away though and your second strike rings out clear as day. Now, with your meal in maw you return to your pillar. Setting down at the base of the monolythe structure, you devour your prey as the sun begins to set on your day and it comes to a close. You lay peacefully on your side at the base of the pillar with a full belly. Sleep takes you until the next morn.

In the morning and a choice emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Your second day comes with the morning shining down upon you and the rest of last night's meal being gone over by a scavenger bird. Without much effort you swat at the bird and knock it down for your second meal. Having had breakfast you are now faced with a truly difficult choice. Being that you're here, presumably for 14 days, you must decide if you are going to stay put at the pillar or if you're going to try and venture out into this new fantastic world. Which will you choose?

Staying put emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

You've decide that staying put is the safest option for now and with plenty of food, your next objective is to find a source of water. Thinking back to when you fell down the pillar you remember the large pool of water at the bottom that you fell into. Securing the pool and the pillar become your first priorities. You'll need somewhere to sleep though and there isn't anywhere nearby that will suffice. Most of the day is spent picking a location to set up a small hut and getting it constructed. The construction proves difficult with your new physiology. A simple set of large leaves found about the forest floor and a vine or two are all you need in order to build the makeshift rain shelter. It takes several hours but you manage to make a rough shanty of sorts. After a long day you decide to sleep early. Sleep comes quickly and your second day ends quietly.

The next day emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

A small beam of light creeps through the holes in your shelter and wake you to another beautiful day. You stand and stretch, then head out for a hunt. Your insticts prevail and you drag back a large kill in your maw. With a successful morning hunt you sit in your shelter eating your kill and savoring your successes thus far. The day progresses smoothly and leisurely as you relax and take in the natural beauty of the surroundings. As the day finally begins to close, the wonderful sunset lights up the sky in shades of red and orange just as you lay down for the evening. Eventually you pass out calmly under the fading light and luscious sounds of the forest. You're sleep is interrupted several times by the beginnings of a storm however.

Storm emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Last night's rain begins to drip through the open cracks in your shelter. The roof creaks under the strong winds and the driving rain; the sound deafening. The lashed vines fly loose at an instant and the shelter flies apart as you gain your footing. Struggling against your own exhaustion and the inclement weather, you search for new shelter. The sounds of the forest are all but gone, now replaced by the howl of the fierce storm. A small cave at the base of the pillar is your only respite for the moment and even that is barely adequate. When the rain finally begins to let up, you begin again on building your shelter. It takes hours to get everything back the way it was and some of the vines you are forced to go well out of your way to find. The rain returns once more, shortly after your shelter is done, but you have no energy to look for a meal. Tired and hungry, you have nothing left to keep you awake and you pass out early again; your fourth day comes to a close.

Next day emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Morning comes less eventfully today as you wake easily. The shelter has withstood the test of the night's storms and appears to be holding up against today's torment as well. The rain still falls and most of the creatures are no where to be seen. With most of the creatures in hiding and rain deafening most of the insects, it's a very droll day. Hunger comes over you now as you're realizing that you've not eaten in over a day. You venture out to find food but cannot catch even the smallest thing in the rain. Frustrated and tired, you resort to foraging for fruits or berries. You're in luck as you only look for a short time before finding some fruit. After bringing it back to the shelter you eat your fill and save the rest for the next day. With nothing else to do and the sun setting uneasily for the second time, you hunker down to sleep again. The storms once more sing you to sleep in a most foreboding manner.

The Sixth day emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

he sixth day comes far too quickly for you as you awaken violently to loud thunder and lightning cracking the sky along with nearby trees. Lightning lights up the night all throughout the forest, turning it to day for a short while before leaving you blind once more in the dark. The wind whips all about you as the shelter wanes in it's wake. The water is finally beginning to rise as the rain drives harder than you've ever seen it. With the ground saturated from all the rain the water has no where to go and continues to rise. You are forced to abandon your fledgeling shelter. Wind pounds at you forcing your wings closed and makes it so you cannot fly. Forced to higher ground by the raising water level, the pillar is your only sanctuary. Struggling through the water and making it to the top of the pillar you wait out the storm. S

The storm emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

o close to te sky you must hunker down and lay beneath your wings to protect against the wind rain and lightning. Hours pass and the night turns to day and the day turns, again, to night. Deep hunger overwhelms you and consumes you as you struggle against the weather and fight to keep yourself together.
Sometime very early in the seventh day's morning, before sunrise, the rain finally ceases. The clouds break within hours and the world's star returns to it's place in the sky. The return of the light brings with it the creatures and sounds of the forest. Your hunger is now terrible and deep, a ravaging feeling from within you.

Meals with wings emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

A small bird makes the mistake of catching your eye and you dart from your position sitting atop the pillar. Easily caught, it dies in your grasp by the time you hit the water below. Splash down causes you to lose the bird for a moment, though with quick search you regain your meal. Finally able to slake your apettite, the only thing left to do is relax and wait for the waters to recede. The rest of the long and comfortable day is your's to spend; laying on the rocky outcropping and catching small creatures of flight. As dusk approaches you sigh to yourself happily; another wonderful day has passed.

Big Prey emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

Over the next few days the water recedes further and further until, on the 10th day, it is low enough to hunt on the ground once more. Game is rare however, and your many tries fail. You're hunting does finally pay off, with a mammoth sized mammal which doesn't see you coming. You crouch, lunge, and hit your target dead on with deadly precision. Each talon digs deep into the animal but the beast does not fall. You're locked onto the beast's back; dug in talon deep. The large animal tries to shake you again and again. A final shake sends you flying into a nearby tree and knocking you senseless for a few seconds. The forest lends you a hand as the leaves break your fall.
