There. An answer. It wasn’t a wrong answer by any means. You liked saying this, and… you felt comfortable with it. You liked the idea of baking. And the idea of eating, too, obviously.
But explaining in any further detail felt like an impossible task. You didn’t exactly know your own reasons, in the end.
Okay, as long as she wasn’t going to stop being your friend because you didn’t know how answer her.
“Makes sense.” Dahlia blurted out, smiling. “You took a bit to reply, which is fine in my book. Sometimes people don’t understand themselves, and that’s okay.”
…Oh, okay. She was a lot more understanding than you thought. Which, honestly, was pretty good!
It just meant you two could be friends after all. Two girls, looking at an oven that was cooking brownies.
What more could you ask for? There probably was something, but whatever the case, you couldn’t think of anything at the moment. It wasn’t… that important.
You didn’t think it was, at least. In any case, you were pretty happy right now. You just needed more time to be with your new friends, to bake brownies, to cook.
To do all those things that you had just found out you liked. The changes that happened to you weren’t bad. They were… pretty good, honestly. It was making you excited.
Everything here made you excited. Your heart skipped a few beats, before beating faster.
Yeah, yeah. You liked your life right now. You didn’t know when the changes would revert, when you would become a human again, but the idea wasn’t even on your mind. Not that much, anyway.
For the time being, you were satisfied with the way things were going. With… your new life as a cow. It was pretty good.
