Questions
“I’m not sure I want to leave either.” You told her, rubbing the back of your head. So far, being here didn’t feel bad. You enjoyed the feeling. You enjoyed this body.
All of this was way, way, way too cool for you to not want to leave. The only bad thing was using your hooves, but even then, it didn’t make you feel like escaping.
Right now, you were only thinking about how much you wanted to eat those brownies. At least, it shouldn’t take too long before they were ready.
Your stomach certainly was anticipating them, given how much it growled.
“Really hungry, huh?” Dahlia winked at you. She was… teasing, yeah. That’s what she was doing.
And it worked, because you felt your face starting to heat up because of her words. You rubbed one of your arms, still flustered.
“Well, yeah. I guess I am. Nothing wrong with that, though.”
“Yeah, there’s nothing wrong. I’m pretty hungry myself, so I see what you mean.” Dahlia managed a giggle. She was enjoying teasing you, from the looks of it.
But you also liked that she was doing that. Maybe this was a sign of friendship? Yeah, it could be. If it was, you didn’t mind it. You sort of enjoyed the idea of her being your friend. After all, this was why you left your house in the first place!
She was going to be your friend, and her husband as well. Honestly, living here was pretty good, all things considered.
“So, anything specific about baking that you like?”
Oh, cool, she was asking questions. Well, it wasn’t necessarily bad, but you weren’t exactly expecting to hear from her.
Alright, then.
