Dishes
“Okay, dishes. Doing dishes. I have to do dishes.”
You winced—doing dishes was awful. It wasn’t something you liked doing, which was another reason as to why you kept ordering food instead of cooking.
“Hmmm…”
Or, instead of doing this, you could do anything else other than this. Which sounded like a way better idea.
Procrastinating. You had always been like this, finding a way to not do something, to not do what you had to do. And honestly, that was a bit annoying.
You were annoyed by your own actions. And while you struggled with that, you tried to focus your mind back on the dishes.
Dishes. You really had to go and clean them up, didn’t you? Besides, you cleaned the house already, this was part of that. Well, it probably was…
That didn’t mean you were happy to do this, though. You grabbed the bowls and put them on the sink, before turning the water on. On your left you grabbed a sponge and some detergent, rubbing the oil on the sponge.
“Ah. This sucks. I don’t like it…”
Who would’ve thought becoming a cow would mean you still had to do house work? Because you assumed that this would be beyond the scope of your abilities.
As annoying as this was, at least you weren’t bored to death. You started to scrub the bowls with the sponge, and the result was making a lot of foam and bubbles.
Honestly, you found it to be a bit cute. Maybe the thing that made this dishwashing stuff to be bearable was the nice smell of chocolate coming from nearby.
…You were half tempted to just eat the entire cake yourself instead of handing it to the neighbors. But honestly, that would be rude, and you’d rather not be rude, right?
