Finish Cleaning
You blinked, ignoring the tiny bit of you that wanted to ask how you’d get milk. You weren’t going to milk yourself, would you? Such a thought came up, but you didn’t do much with it. It was more like… you tried to ignore the thought.
So far, you managed to do a good job, and instead of focusing on that weird thing, you were more interested in finishing the cleaning session. Brushing another room of the house, checking to see if anything was broken, that kind of stuff.
Honestly, you never considered yourself someone that did house duty, but now… it was something else. The context of your life was different enough that now you were doing this house duty stuff. Which, honestly, wasn’t even all that bad!
It wasn’t good, but it wasn’t bad either. You didn’t know exactly how to describe the feeling. The good thing about this was that it made time pass faster.
Was this a miracle or something? It almost seemed like one. Well, whatever it was, you didn’t notice that an hour passed. Or two. Or two and a half. By the time you did notice this, you had already cleaned over half of the house.
And then you sat on the couch—noticing how it creaked when you sat. You sighed in relief, rubbing an arm over your head. “Phew. That was… exhausting.”
Somehow, exhausting didn’t feel like it was enough to describe how this felt.
You tried to ignore this, and instead, you made a move for the kitchen. Once inside, you opened a few drawers here and there, up and down. Down and up.
Why were you there? Well, you wanted to bake a cake. Or maybe some pie. Either way, you needed to find the ingredients. Already you could see some flour over there, as well as sugar. Some cocoa powder, too.
“Really? They have everything here, huh.” You blinked, surprised that you didn’t find this before.
