You definitely shouldn’t tell them you’re a transformed human.
“Well… I was just. I don’t know I mean.” You stammered as you thought up your latest lie. Of course, you felt as though you were done giving out all your personal information to some complete strangers. Out of everything, you surely couldn’t tell her about the fact that you’re just a transformed human. You couldn’t even imagine how she would react to hearing about you not really being a selkie. That would be far too much for her to handle after you had already admitted to her that you weren't a god. The thought of that is just so humiliating to you.
In that case, as your mind raced, you decided to pull another lie out of your ass just to make sure you cover yourself a bit more. Remember, a half lie is a whole truth! “Oh yeah, Uhm, well you know, I’m just lost. Like I was lost and I just swam and found you guys. I needed a family and I just wanted to find something else I guess, so then I found you all and you took me in and that’s why I’m so guilty and upset about telling all those lies earlier. I’m really sorry.” You pouted, figuring you’d pull on her heart strings a little bit.
“Oh, oh my god, that’s terrible.” Score! You could tell by her sorrowful expression that she was successfully manipulated. You had got some sympathy out of her and just to really seal the deal you made sure to give a little sob as well just for the theatrics. “Well, you’re going to be a part of our family then. No matter what!” She mentioned, coming close to you for comfort.
For a moment, you felt comfortable where you were at. You felt like you truly fit in and that you were about to have some kind of good ending here. Regardless, you spent your days trying your best to fit in and contribute to the society you had now fully become a part of. Everything was going quite well, things were nice for you, but eventually things had their ups and downs. There were of course some problems coming up in the pack, but you were there to deal with them, and sometimes there were good things that happened as well and those were even better because of it. Somehow, you ended up becoming a better person than you were before, despite having told a few lies along the way. It’s not like you were guilty about it or anything, but it just started to be something that you had just kind of dealt with- almost suppressed deep in the vault- but of course that was something that everyone dealt with.
Wait a minute, so much time had already passed before you even knew it. You were so tied into the new life you had built that you forgot to search for your outfit. Well at this point it was already a bit too late. You were fully engulfed in your new life and at this point there wasn’t much you could do to get out of it. This body had grown and aged to the point where you could no longer continue your game. That was it, this was just your life now and honestly it didn’t really feel all that bad.
Well, you may not have made it to the end of your game the right way, but at least you had found something else along the way?
