In a room star star star star halfstar

The sign reads

"Welcome all new travellers.

To continue you must go through a series of doors.

After going through you will pick a costume. You will then become a half- human and half that creature.

After a week(100 mins a hour,20 hrs a day,10 days a week) has passed you may morph and get another costume. To start of with you will only be able to become 40% human to 60% human.

If you put on a costume you will then become that creature, be teleported to it's home town and have to wait a week before being able to morph.

After 50 costumes you may change into one of your other costumes and become 30% to 70% human. When changing costumes you must wait at least an hour before you can change costumes again.

100 different species/gender costumes allows you to gender-morph and become 20% to 80% human

200 different species costumes allows you to combine costumes and become 10% to 90% human

400 different species costumes allows you to return to your world with no more morphing

And 800 different species costumes makes a polymorph and allows you to morph outside of this world.

Also if you have a costume like a centaur then the human part will always be human and is counted towards the human percentage.

Any gender/species transformation magic of yours can only change your gender(if you have at least 100 costumes) and the animal part to a different animal.

When you change into a different costume (that you already have) you may teleport to that species home town but you will have the week penalty where you have no costume changes.

If you die while wearing a costume you will be reborn at the local inn (or appropriate location ). If you have more then 100 costumes you will lose the costume you had when you died and go to an appropriate place for your next costume.

If you fail to make it out in 100 years(100 weeks in a year) one of your possible forms will be chosen and you will be permanently stuck in that form(apart from magic) until you die. Also there will be no possibility of going back to your world.

Also, one final note: should you take a female form and become pregnant, you won't be able to change your gender until the child is born, though the other aspects of your form may change (the child will change to match.) That is all, and good luck!

You realise that you have to do what the sign said to do and go through the doors and grab a costume.

Wolf star star star emptystar emptystar

You find a costume of what looks like an anthro-wolf, as well as instructions. Follow them, you strip off your clothes and find the opening in the front of the costume. You put your legs into the costume, and pull it up over the rest of your body, zipping it up.

The last thing left is the head, which you flip over your own.

Suddenly, you feel odd, and noticed the zip has disappeared. You begin to wonder this as you feet change ,painfully, now fitting the odd wolfen stance of the costume. The changes progress, upwards, as you feel the costume meld with you.

You suddenly remember this was the female room, as you notice a void between your legs and your waist painfully shrinks upwards, pushing your his and ass out.

You suddenly notice a weight on your chest as well, as two (very) large breasts force their way out. As you feel them with your changed hands, you face changes to, pushing out and melding with the wolfen head of the costume.

The changes subside, leaving you as a rather sexy looking anthro-wolf.

Blinking to yourself you look over your new form in the mirror, backing away slightly. How could this have happened, initially you thought the sign was some sick joke but now… it all feels so real. A low hissing begins to echo throughout the room and your enhanced smelling tells you that there is some kind of gas entering the room. Desperately you cover your nose but eventually you succumb to the sleeping gas and collapse on the ground in a deep sleep.

You awaken in your bed and sit straight up. You let out a slight chuckle at your bizarre dream but freeze when a paw enters your vision as you go to wipe the sweat away from your brow. You let out a feminine scream and roll out of bed landing on the ground in your usual loose tank-top and boxers you wear as pyjamas. To your horror your screams seem to not have gone unnoticed and your door is opening.

An Anthro male enters the room emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

“Are you alright?” Another Anthro wolf is stood before you. Unlike you this one appears to have a pale orange coat of fur with black highlights throughout his fur.

“Are you feeling alright?” The wolf Anthro asks again. He takes a second to scan your room before looking back to you once everything seems alright. The wolf takes a step into the room but the imposing wolf standing over you only serves to frighten you more and you back up.

“Relax it’s me, James, your roommate. Remember?” He seems to take a step back and raises his hands in a surrendering sort of gesture.

“James?!?” You call to your roommate “What happened to you?”

“What do you mean ‘what happened to me’ you’re the one freaking out right now.”

“James we aren’t human, how aren’t you freaking out right now?” You call to him and it seems to only make him more worried.

“Hu-man? You must’ve hit the drink really hard last night… I tried to stop you but noooo, you’ll be fine.” James lets out a sigh and seems to shake his head. “Whatever you think happened must’ve been a strange dream or something.” James takes a couple of steps forward, initially you try to back away but you are up against the wall now. James kneels beside you and puts a paw under you muzzle, he gently lifts your head up so you’re looking into his eyes.

“Listen, normally when you’re pulling my tail you don’t look quite so terrified. Go take a shower to relax, I’ll make some pancakes or something then you can come down and we can talk if you’re still worried about whatever you’re going on about.” The wolf stands up before you and begins to leave the room.

Take a shower before meeting with your roommate again as they suggested emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

You stay seated on the ground for a little bit longer your brain trying to decide what you should do. Eventually you decide to do as your… roommate suggested and move into your shared bathroom grabbing some clothes to wear after along the way. You strip down to your bare fur and take a look in the mirror, moving a paw up to your muzzle to see if this is all true. You continue to look over your own luscious fur and more feminine parts. You’d joked with friends that if you ever woke up as a girl you’d spend all your time grabbing at your breasts but now they seem forgotten among the rest of the changes your body went through. You bring a paw up to your arm and pinch yourself hard. You stifle a whimper and decide that you are definitely not dreaming.

Gingerly you step into the familiar shower and begin to toy with the shower knobs. Soon a soft spray is covering all of your fur, dampening it and turning it a shade darker. Under the nozzle you begin to think over what has happened, first you awoke in that strange room with no memory of falling asleep, then you were forced to go through some doors until you found yourself putting on that damned wolf costume… Your hand roamed to the middle of your chest where the zip should have been yet you were unable to find it under your fur. You shake your head gently and decide that your roommate must be the best option for you to find out more about what is going on. Reluctantly you turn off the shower and hop out onto the mat. You grab your towel from the rack and wrap it around yourself. You look into the mirror one last time before you start trying to dry as much water from your fur as possible.

After you’ve spent about 10 minutes attempting to dry out your fur you give up and wear the clothes that you brought into the bathroom. Walking along the familiar hall reminds you of how weird you and James are now. Everything looks the same as your old life except for the wolf Anthro you and James now appear to be. You step into the kitchen and true to his word James has made a moderately sized stack of pancakes for you and himself. You sit at the table wordlessly and he starts dishing up the pancakes into two plates, on for you and one for himself. Should you start asking questions before eating and get everything out of the way or would it be better to eat then talk, giving yourself more time to think about what to say?

I should think about what I want to say emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

You sit quietly behind your pancakes eating small chunks although you don’t feel terribly hungry
from everything that’s happened in the last few hours.

“I thought you liked my cooking?” James was sat opposite you eating his pancakes at a reasonable
rate.

“I do but… I’m just not all that hungry.” You reply honestly and James eyes you suspiciously.

“Are you sure you didn’t hit your head?”

“Yes I am… Listen, we’re friends right? You’d listen to what I have to say?” you ask your flatmate.

“Yeah, of course? Do you need me to buy you some more… stuff?” he asks dead serious. It takes you a second to think about what he’s asking but when you realise you shake your head violently.

“NO, NO, NOTHING LIKE THAT!” You curse yourself in your head for how embarrassed you sound.

“Are you sure? You’re acting pretty weird.”

“I’m fine. Just shut up please…” You implore him and he seems to quieten down so you can think about how you want to start this conversation.

“I did have a weird dream last night,” You begin and you look to see that James has given you his full attention.

“I wasn’t like this at the start…” You gesture to yourself and you’re able to watch as his expression turns slightly confused.

“For starters I was a guy.” What little attention was on his pancakes was torn away at your unexpected words. He looks like he’s about to laugh and you’re suddenly relieved that looks can’t kill. He manages to control himself at the deathly glare in your eyes and clears his throat before nodding.

“And I wasn’t… this wolf thing… I was a human.”

“Ok?” James seems utterly lost but nods along anyways, “And what happened then to this ‘guy, nonwolf’ version of you?”

“I was locked in some black room; there was a sign that read about transformations and costumes of some kind. It said to go through one of two doors and I guess I chose the female door or something. After that I was met with lots and lots of doors along a corridor and just picked one at random. Inside it had a wolf costume and it was a bit chilly so I placed it on.” You recount the events of your last night with James listening closely.

“As soon as I had placed on all of the costume I felt sharp pains throughout all of my body and I began to ‘fill out’ the costume I guess.” The two of you sit there in silence. A minute passes with James considering the story you told him, eventually though he looks like he is almost ready to speak.

He needs proof to believe you. emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

“You must’ve hit the drink really hard last night.” He begins to chuckle before turning back to the pancakes before him.

“You… You don’t believe me?” You don’t really blame him; a part of you can’t help but imagine that you’re still dreaming.

“Well it sounds like one hell of a story but do you really think it sounds plausible?”

“YES! I’ LIVED THROUGH THAT, I STILL AM!” You stand up and slam your hands-- paws-- whatever, down onto the table. “How can I prove to you that I’m not making this up?”

“You really want to prove this to me? You really want me to believe this story?” He seems to be cracking slightly and pushes his plate forwards slightly before relaxing into his chair.

“Yes! Tell me, how can I prove it to you?” James just chuckles and leans back further in his chair putting his feet up onto the table.

“You don’t have to do anything, just whatever feels natural to you.”

“What do you mean by that?” Now it is your turn to feel confused by his words.

“Just do what you think would be natural right now.” This doesn’t really help your confusion so you look around trying to see what he wants from you. Your eyes lock onto a pet peeve of yours, his dirty plate.

“I assume you’re talking about your dirty plate? Come on, that doesn’t bother me until you walk away and leave it.” You smile slightly thinking you’d beat him but his mystified expression tells you otherwise.

“What, did you also forgot that you’re the one who always leaves their plates lying around during your dream as well?” He chuckles slightly.

“What do you mean? I always have to remind you to pick up after yourself.” James looks perplexed once again and takes his feet down before grabbing his plate and taking it to the sink.

“Congratulations, you can act. If you’re gonna keep this up then so am I. I will win this and make you wish you’d just come clean from the start.”

“So to prove to you that this is real I just need to be myself?”

“If you can go the whole day without snapping at me like you usually would then sure, I’ll bite. Until then, you have to deal with me doing stuff to piss you off.” You can practically feel James’ smirk from here.

“Deal.” You agree immediately and this makes his pause for a second.

“Alright then, let’s begin.”

The two of you are sat down on your couch in the open, pale baby blue living room. You’re aimlessly flicking through the channels on your moderately sized TV until James tells you to stop at a show you vaguely recognise. You seem to recall it being about some sappy cliché romance where there is a misunderstanding and the guy barely manages to get the girl back in the end, although what you are currently watching has all the human actors replaced with actors of varying animal species.

“Want me to change the channel?” James asks you.

“Go for it, I think they’re playing my favourite movie over on channel 9.” You reply to James.

“I thought you despised action movies?” he mentions now confused after flicking to the specified channel.

“Really James? Who doesn’t love a good action movie?” You chuckle while speaking to him.

“You…” He replies quietly before shaking his head. “This doesn’t prove anything to me, if your new ‘persona’ loves action movies then I guess we can watch it.” Although you can’t see it James looks over you while you’re wrapped up in your favourite movie. He seems to be surprised when you even quote a few of the lines but doesn’t recall ever watching this film with you.

“God I fucking love that movie, it always brings a tear to my eye it’s so good and all the lines are so memorable.”

“That’s unlike you,” he mutters after your little rant.

“Pardon?” You reply suddenly remembering that there is another person on the couch with you.

“I don’t think I’ve heard you swear before.” James replies and you just shake your head.

“Whatever, have we got any other plans for the day?”

James decides to do one final test about where to eat dinner emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

“Well I was thinking about going out for dinner, I’d suggest going to that sushi bar you love but I bet your new ‘persona’ hates that stuff.” James seems a little irritated with you at this point.

“Actually no, I’m ok with it but I really feel like going to the burger joint on Main Street.” James raises an eyebrow at you.

“Really, after all of today that’s where your façade crumbles?”

“What do you mean?” you ask James now confused.

“There aren’t any burger joints on Main Street.” You look to James to see if he’s pulling your leg but he doesn’t appear to be. You start laughing uncontrollably.

“What?” He asks but you don’t stop.

“What is so funny?” You manage to reign in your laughter to answer him.

“You’re in for a treat tonight, just trust me, you’ll love it.” You check the time and decide you can make it by 6.30 if you leave now. “Go get ready, I’ll go book a table for us before getting changed then we can leave.”

You don’t leave James any say in the matter and get up to book a table for two. The person who answers the phone sounds a bit different from what you remember but you don’t think about it too much as you tell them to hold a table for two, insisting it is only friends when they ask if there were any ‘special preparations’ needed for the duo. You leave the room and head for your bedroom to change quickly. You rush into your room and fling open your wardrobe glancing around at all of the different clothes on offer to you. The first issue you realise is you have no clue what makes a bra comfy. You take a few which look like they could be comfy and take off your top to try a few on. The first one’s wire digs into your chest making it too uncomfortable so you take it off. The second one feels nice comfortable enough so you throw the first bra and the one you didn’t try back into the wardrobe before pulling out a few different tops and pants. Its warm today so you feel like wearing some shorts although you do notice a few skirts in the wardrobe. After taking a moment to lay the outfits on the bed you’re left to choose between the three. There’s a low cut red shirt which feels a bit too showy for your liking but looks really nice with some deep blue shorts. There’s a black shirt which looks like something you’d have just thrown on if you were still a guy along with some black skinny jeans. Finally there’s a dress which even you have to admit looks quite cute although it makes you feel a bit uncomfortable thinking about it.

Wear the casual black top and skinny jeans. emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar emptystar

You decide that the black top with skinny jeans looks alright for now and you walk out the room after putting on your sneakers. James looks up from the couch to see you walking out of your room ready to go.

“What? Not going to comb your fur like usual?” James teases you.

“Well if we don’t leave now we’ll miss our reservation so come on lets go!”

“And punctual? I think I might be warming up to this new persona of yours.” James gets up off the couch and you grab the keys to your car before walking off with James lagging slightly behind to lock the door to your apartment. You hop in the car and start it up right as James catches up and hops into the car. You pull out of the parking area and begin heading off to the burger joint you mentioned. While driving you notice a few anthros of all different species walking along the foot path but choose to mostly ignore it while driving.

“I think some part of me was still hoping that everyone else was human… I guess now.” You mention to James before focusing back on the road causing yourself to miss the look of slight sadness he sends your way.

You pull up to a parking space not far from where the restaurant is located and James seems confused.

“There’s no restaurant around here.” He asks you sounding a bit puzzled.

“It’s over there down the alley a little bit. Come on, trust me.” You hop out the car with no hesitation and James seems to hesitate for a second before hopping out.

“This place better be worth it.”

“Like I said, you’ll love it.” Without skipping a beat you turn down the dark alley way. James follows closely behind you.

“Aww, is the baby afraid of the dark?” You tease him.

“Haha, I’m just worried about what could happen to you. You know what sort of an area this is.”

“Nothing’s ever happened to us before, I’m 100% sure that nothing could possibly happen to us now, besides, we’re here already.” You turn to the seemingly unmarked door which has a tiny sign beside it simply saying ‘open’ in neon letters.

“This is it? Your fabulous burger joint?” James now seems sceptical.

“Exactly, come on.” You open up the door and enter. Inside the place is quite nice, red carpeted floors, pale coloured walls, even the chairs and tables look to have been made to a very high standard.

“Table for two, under James.” You tell the waitress at the bar.

“Oh yes, here you are, over in the corner there.” James has now come up behind you.

“Nice of you to join us James, our table is over there I’ll order our usuals. I‘ll have a bacon burger with lettuce and cucumber and he’ll have special number 2 please.” You rattle off to the waitress with practised ease.

You smile at the waitress as she quickly enters your order into the machine and you pay over the counter. You turn on your heel and begin heading over to the table the waitress pointed you towards with James uneasily in tow behind you.

“A part of me thinks this is all the set up for an elaborate prank where you actually just ordered me fish or something.” James mentions when he sits opposite you.

“Only a part of you now?” You smile before chuckling at him, “So I passed your tests?”

“So far you have, honestly I just don’t think you could keep something like this up for so long.” He lets out a sigh. “Alright then, if this is all true, what do you want to do?”

“What do you mean James?” You ask him.

“I mean what do you want to do? If you really did change species and gender then I assume you want to go back as soon as possible right?”

“I… I don’t really know. You and I always used to joke that if either of us woke up a chick we’d just spend the entire time feeling our boobs… If we can find a way for me to go back I’ll take it… but until that moment comes I think I may just need to learn to accept it and have some fun.”

At that moment a different waitress from the one at the front came over and interrupted the two, “Can I get you two a drink?” You spend a second looking at James who looks back for a bit before shrugging.

“We’ll grab two cokes please.” The waitress writes it down before walking off towards the bar.

“That’s unlike you.” James smirks at you, “usually you try to break the bank with alcohol tabs.”

“You’re right, that’s like your old roommate. God it’s no wonder you were always single if that’s your best pick-up line!” You tease him right back before chuckling at his flushing cheeks.

“If we’re going to try and turn you back we need to figure out how you got into that room with all the different clothes… Can you remember what you were doing before you woke up in that room?”

“I was sleeping, aside from that…” You start thinking back to what you were doing but nothing seems to be glaring out at you that could have caused this, as you think you begin looking out into nothingness in the window next too James. “I have no clue… Come to think of it everything is starting to get a bit hazy…” This last section catches James’ attention.

“What do you mean?”

“It’s getting harder to remember anything from before I woke up this morning… well, back in my old life at least…” You look back to James who seems to be looking at you with his eyes wide open.

“If you can’t remember anything we may never turn you back!” James warns you.

“Yes but we’ve already bought this food, we might as well stay and enjoy it.” You reply to him, I think I can remember my life for at least another hour or so.

“And what if you don’t? It’s better if we prepare for the worst.”

“I’ll be fine, besides, where are you going to get paper from?”
