You are standing by a tree
There are 3 paths.
One appears to go to a jungle,
one appears to go to a cave,
one appears to go to a beach,
you could try and climb the tree,
there is a nearby shop you could go in,
or you could do something else.
So what's its going to be?

Climb the tree
You climb up the tree and sit on the branch.
The first sign that something is wrong is when your skin becomes itchy. You scratch at it but it feels different. You look and notice the feathers growing on your skin.
When you're completely covered in feathers, the next changes start. This time your mouth and nose stretch out to form a beak. By the time that the beak is finished your head has completely changed into a bird head.
Soon the changes are complete and you are now a bird. You look in amazement at your new sense of vision.

Fly away, be free
You stretch out your new wings and try to fly. You fly for about 0.3 seconds and then you start to fall. This is because you did turn into a bird, but not a flying one.
It appears that you have turned into a chicken! You land in the soft grass underneath the tree, unharmed. <What?!> you think. <How could this happen?> <The spell asked for bald eagal feet,so I went and got them!>
Then you think <That damn black market, they lied, and gave me chicken feet!>
In all the panic, you have failed to notice that...

Curious as a fox, but scared like a chicken
The fox creeps up silently behind you while you're still fuming about the black market mix-up. You turn around to be face to face the fox. Both you and the fox are shocked. The fox, because it didn't expect you to turn around. You, because when you're a foot tall, and a chicken, and there happens to be a fox sneaking up on you.
"Oh, SHIT!!!" You try to run but the fox slams it's paw down on your tail feathers. It just sits there watching you try to run.
