or you could do something else.

Vixen Costume
You see a beautiful Vixen costume in front of you. It doesn't look very realistic, but it's good enough. You reach out to touch it, and find that it doesn't seem to be made of rubber. It feels like real fur underneath your hand. She is wearing a size C bra, a shirt that shows her stomach, and cut-off shorts.
"Wow," you say. "If only it weren't female, this would be awesome for the party tonight." That night, you were going to a friend's party. It was a costume bash, which is why you found yourself inside this store.
"That wouldn't matter."
You turn around to see the shopkeeper looking at you. "These costumes can fit any male or female, and it looks very convincing. Trust me, it'll fit you... perfectly."
The pause before "perfectly" seems creepy, but after all, what harm is done by just putting it on, right?
You walk into a changing room. The manager calls to you before leaving. "Make sure you strip first. It won't fit otherwise.
You look at the slim, paw feet, certain that there's no way they could fit. You slip one foot into it, and you are right. It's cramped, and you are forced onto the front of your feet. You continue with the rest of the costume, and end up with someone who looks like a man stuffed into a Vixen costume. The filling for the breasts pokes out of the bra, the tail hangs limp, and it's very clear that you are male. You sigh deeply.
"Realistic, right." You gasp as this does not come out in your normal voice, but a soft, feminine one. The mask disintegrates, falling off in bits and pieces. Your human face has become female, and long, red hair falls to your waist. Your face pushes forward with a few quick thrusts, forming a fox face. Your ears feel like they were sharply tugged upward, becoming triangular as they go. You feel your torso becoming slimmer, your arms becoming slender. Your hands shrink, becoming dainty and slim. Fur prickles along your entire body, and your ring and smallest fingers merge together slowly. Claws jut from what were your fingernails, and pads grow. As the change progresses, the costume continues to fall apart.
Your hands fly to your chest as the padding falls out. The skin there begins to puff forward, swelling into the bra. You touch one with your paw, but jerk it away at the sensations that it creates. By now the change has flattened your stomach, and your hips are expanding. You feel a sharp pain in your... tail, as it pushes the fake one out. You reach back and stroke the long, swishing tail gently. Your legs slim further, becoming slender, and finally your feet shrink, lengthen, and twist into paws. You sigh deeply, glad that it's over.
But, it's not. With a sharp jolt, you feel something down below draw up into your body. You look down tentatively, and reach your hand into your pants. You jerk it out with a yelp. Yep, you're a girl now.
You walk up to the shopkeeper. He smiles. "Are you satisfied?"
"Satisfied! I've been turned into a girl! Why would I be satisfied?" You rage at him. He leads you by the hand in front of a full-length mirror. You try to resist, but your female body isn't as strong as your male one was. As you look at your graceful, beautiful, feminine body, your rage disappears. "Maybe, I could spend a while like this." You say, touching your ear.
"There's a 24-hour trial period, if you like."

More Tails
As you look in the mirror you feel like something is missing (well other then the obvious).
"How does is it feel" the store-keeper says.
"Well it feels like something is missing and no I am not talking about the obvious"
"How about these?" asks the store-keeper holding another tail.
"I'll try it" you say.
He hands it over and you put it on. The feeling of missing subsides.

Kitsune Soul
The storekeeper smiles “It seems like you have a kitsune soul.”
“Kitsune?” you ask.
“Magical multi-tailed fox. The costume has awakened it. Now as for payment” he states.
“I don’t have much but I need this” you say surprising yourself with the statement.
“Of course you do, all of you awakened souls don’t want to go back to sleeping. And you have a lot more than you think. Imagine deep down inside you is a well. Drop a bucket into it and lift the water up. It may help if you close your eyes”
You follow his instructions and eventually after many attempts are able to do so. The water flows down your arms and collects into a ball. You open your eyes to see the ball floating in mid-air.
“Did I do that?” you ask.
“Yes you did” The store-keeper says collecting it into a box. “That is almost pure magic, very useful to someone like me. Would you like to stay and work off your debt? I can also provide you with a illusion device to keep your form secret.”
