Dragon shifters are the main TF content for this story. Their is also a race that slightly shifts to fit the environment
Their are hints that this world may be Earth in the future but something went wrong.
While I enjoyed the story, the use of an apendix explaining the meaning of many words used makes it confusing to follow.
Also their is not much transformation in the book. The main character is from a family of dragon shifters but cannot shift out of human form.
If you took the shifters out it would be very easy to replace it with another reason why the king does not think he would make a good heir
Overall I think it falls on the wrong side of the generally recommended list and far on the wrong side of the transformation list.
