Released (The Shapeshifters' Library Book 1)

Rating 3 / 5

First the good: Both groups of shifters remain in control no matter what forms they are in. Diet is important, even when they are in human form they have to worry about their animal diet.

The bad: The villains do not seem to be very villainous. The ending suddenly comes and the twist has been spoiled for a long time

A nice touch though was the name of the town, I don't know if I picked it up but I thought it sounded strange and I was correct.

Plot wise, the story is good but looking back their is not really a lot of danger.

I think overall this one almost crossed the line to being selected by itself and not just a lack of books. I think it mostly suffers from too many characters and the ending being obvious.Still the story is a good read and trying something different is enough for me to give it 3
