I was only a few chapters in and characters kept getting introduced.
The world building also seems inconsistent, you have the hunters of the supernatural but supernaturals are in the open.
Finally the writing seemed off. The main character changes into a dragon and the comment is, 'sometimes this happens'.
finally for being 17% into a trilogy, not much has actually happened
