While the story had some good ideas, the transformation is almost always character replacement. Their is only a couple of times where the human is referenced
What looks like to be the main conflict in the first chapters is mostly forgotten about in the middle chapters
Overall it might have some reference to mythology that I don't know about but overall I cannot really recommend it
