This book reminds me of the book that started the series off. Face in the Mirror and much like that one I found it to be exactly the sort of story I like.
The basic plot outline is we have out main character turned into a genetically engineered race.
One thing I found a little weird was some of the place names, which may be because I am sort of familiar with the suburbs in question.
The transformation in question is over in a few pages but dealing with it take most of the rest of the book
For villain characters other then one-off in his crew you have religious figures
The only bad thing I can find of note is at the end when their is a letter. I could not remember who the name was.
