While the idea is good, the execution is sort of not well done.
It is mostly the power-up type transformation. While their is some attempt at the mental effects this is only one effect and not really explored
A good addition was showing weakness of the new form.
Overall I would of liked more of an explanation with the main character backstory but overall not much to recommend
