My biggest problem is their are too many storylines to focus on.
Off the top of my head their are Off the top of my head their are 4 main groups and the story switches between them so much you do not really get any focus on a particular one.
Individually each storyline might be good but they need a book to focus on just each one individually
Overall I gave up 19%/ 49 chapters in
