Ursa Major

Rating 4 / 5

After a run of bad and ok books, I finally find one that I can recommend without hesitation

Firstly unlike most of the recent books the story does not drag. What stops it from being a 5 is slightly too many characters.

In world building their is a real sense of the time period being just before one of the world wars in America. This does not feel tacked on but as part of the story.

The transformation section of the book does not start until late but it is worth it. One thing that I liked and do not see much is people knowing what is happening and getting the last time as humans.
