I think the main problem with the book is you spend many chapters before you get to the conflict that drives the book.
To start off with their is a chapter with one group of characters. Then we suddenly switch into another group of characters, with no clues as to who the main character is.
All of a suddenly you find out what the actual plot is, and the character referenced in the blurb has not re entered the scene yet
Eventually she re-enters the story but by this time your like why is she important.
Eventually I gave up and put this book down
