While the story started off good. It quickly became clear I was not going to enjoy this
First it suffers from too many characters. This leads too not getting any character development for some, so when some of the die it is very much I don't know who they are.
The main character is also not likable (although she does get better)
The world building is interesting but throws many new words around. This makes it harder to keep track of.
Also the first book ends with very few of the plot threads dealt with and I am not really interested in continuing.
Overall I cannot recommend this book.
