A cabin
You woke up once again around dawn. Which had become your routine in this pass two weeks. You were a bit groggy at first. Your body creaky from sleepy on the hard stone path. Blinking a few times cleared your vision and you thoughts.
“The cabin!” You shout pushing your body up despite the groans of protest from it. In the light of day, you could clearly see the cabin. Or what you thought to be a cabin. It was more of a large shack. Built in a large square shape. It's sides were logs bound together with vines. The logs were rotting in some spots and obviously dragged in from where-ever they fell for the ends were rough and broken.
“What the fuck?” The effort to drag them here but not cut them properly was plan weird. They took the effort to make signs and tell people what was safe to eat but couldn't bother making a proper structure? Well, you shrug your shoulders. It didn't really matter in the end, you guess. As long as they were willing to help. Sure a manticorn talking to you would be weird, but you felt confident you could expressive yourself. Explain what happen without the other party freaking out. The door was a large woven grass blades. You hesitate in front of it and knock on it. Friendly human, see me knocking? That's your plan. It wasn't a bad plan, a monster or scary manticorn wouldn't knock on your door, would they? You anxiously rub the back of your leg with your other foot. No one was answering. You knock again, instead of lightly on the woven door; harder on the wood beside the door. If anyone had left earlier they would have seen you. Your still alive, so there wasn't anybody hostile about and arrow maker wouldn't have left you lying there.
“Hello!” you shout out has your knocks go unheard. “Is anyone there?” You knock on the wood again. “I'm lost and I need your help!” You waited again and you still have no answer to your call.
