I’ve been attacked by humans
For some reason, you just wanted to be particularly dramatic. THat would have been the best way to convince them of something, right? You thought about it to yourself for a moment before you really really started to go big or go home!.
“I have been attacked by humans… That’s why I’m so tired right now.” You started to breathe particularly heavy. You wer even able to get all shaky as though you were about to pass out. Honestly, the levels of anxiety you were feeling from being put on the spot like that and questioned so aggressively by the others seemed to have some kind of effect on you.
“Pardon me?” the largest male seal approached you. “You were attacked?” he questioned with a particularly curious look on his face.
“If you were attacked, why do you look so unharmed.” Another one asked. Before long, the crowd started to murmur louder and louder until it all grew into a cacophony of barking and growling. The look of their sharp fangs being exposed in gnarly snarls immediately struck fear into your heart. That must have been it. It was the straw that broke the camels back.
In a moment- almost a flash of a second, they were on hot pursuit of you. You leapt into the water and they chased and chased. Your limbs started to burn with exhaustion despite being completely submerged in the icy cold water. It was a strange contrast but it started to make your mind race. Honestly your body was racing as well, but only in that moment you realized how dumb of a lie that was. Mainly cause they had already spent a bit of time actually checking out your physical body. Clearly you had no blood or anything on you, so of course it was a lie. They were already suspicious of you, so why the heck did you say that! It would have been even more incriminating.
If you had feet you’d be kicking yourself, but sadly the only kicking you were doing seemed to be with your flippers as you moved through the water. Still, your body was going as hard and fast as it ever could have. You could feel your energy starting to deplete quickly and slowly you started to see the edges of your vision going black. Soon the dots floating around in your vision started to slowly take over more and more until you had blacked out from either the exhaustion or from being forced to hold your breath for so long.
Suddenly, you were shocked into the room you had first started in. You were back at the very beginning but it took you a moment to actually comprehend what had happened. It was almost as though you had lost some of your memory when being teleported back to your original self. You laid there for a moment, still somehow exhausted from what you had just experienced and with a deep sigh of relief that your bad endings weren’t particularly as risky as it would have been otherwise.
Looks like there was a third option. Go big or go home? No! This time you had successfully done both.
