In a room
The sign reads
"Welcome all new travellers.
To continue you must go through a series of doors.
After going through you will pick a costume. You will then become a half- human and half that creature.
After a week(100 mins a hour,20 hrs a day,10 days a week) has passed you may morph and get another costume. To start of with you will only be able to become 40% human to 60% human.
If you put on a costume you will then become that creature, be teleported to it's home town and have to wait a week before being able to morph.
After 50 costumes you may change into one of your other costumes and become 30% to 70% human. When changing costumes you must wait at least an hour before you can change costumes again.
100 different species/gender costumes allows you to gender-morph and become 20% to 80% human
200 different species costumes allows you to combine costumes and become 10% to 90% human
400 different species costumes allows you to return to your world with no more morphing
And 800 different species costumes makes a polymorph and allows you to morph outside of this world.
Also if you have a costume like a centaur then the human part will always be human and is counted towards the human percentage.
Any gender/species transformation magic of yours can only change your gender(if you have at least 100 costumes) and the animal part to a different animal.
When you change into a different costume (that you already have) you may teleport to that species home town but you will have the week penalty where you have no costume changes.
If you die while wearing a costume you will be reborn at the local inn (or appropriate location ). If you have more then 100 costumes you will lose the costume you had when you died and go to an appropriate place for your next costume.
If you fail to make it out in 100 years(100 weeks in a year) one of your possible forms will be chosen and you will be permanently stuck in that form(apart from magic) until you die. Also there will be no possibility of going back to your world.
Also, one final note: should you take a female form and become pregnant, you won't be able to change your gender until the child is born, though the other aspects of your form may change (the child will change to match.) That is all, and good luck!
You realise that you have to do what the sign said to do and go through the doors and grab a costume.
Alternatively you could use the key system to determine the room

Water Creatures
You find yourself in what appears to be a glass room deep in the ocean.
The stairs are blocked by a force field.
You realise you have to go through one of the three dark blue doors numbed 1,2 & 3.
What door do you want?
Written by Catprog on 11 February 2004
Normal Water
You go through the door.
All of a sudden it slams shut and with no handle on this side it appears that you are stuck.
There are two more doors however and both of them have a sign on them saying
Costume room for
Element: Water
Type: Normal
Gender: ????
So which door do you want

Female Normal Water
You go through the door.
All of a sudden it slams shut and with no handle on this side it appears that you are stuck.
There are five costumes in this room, all of them female, all of them are normal water creatures.
- Shark
- Tuna
- Dugong

JAWS!
You take the shark costume. The costume's tightness forces you to strip, then put the costume on. The costume comes with a swimsuit, which you put on overtop it.
No sooner have you done this than you feel a tingling sensation throughout your body.
The you feel your skin disappearing as you begin to feel what the costume is touching. The costume's tail and muzzle fill out as your spine and face extend. Your toes vanish, replaced with slipper-like feet. Your teeth fall out, replaced by sharper ones. A series of slits open on your neck. You realize that they are gills.
Then come the most jarring changes. your chest becomes heavier as the swimsuit stretches out in front. As you feel your new breasts, a feeling 'down below' confirms that you have indeed switched genders.
Now you are an anthropomorphic shark (and not a very unhandsome one, too!).
With the changes complete, you look at your clothes. A bag sits in their place. The bag appears watertight. You look inside it. There you see your clothes. Further examination finds that your clothes are now adapted for your new female shark form. One thing that didn't belong to you is a bracelet. Not sure what to make of it, you put it on. It looks quite handsome on you.
Zipping up the bag, you glance at the door. You find that you can open it, but it no longer leads where it led earlier. It leads to a small room with another door at the end.
As soon as you enter the room, the door shuts behind you, and the room begins to fill with water. At first you panic, but then you remember your gills. Breathing underwater for the first time, you try opening the door you came in. No luck.
You try the other door. It opens, leading out into what looks like an underwater environment. It is a very expansive coral reef.
To the left, you see the seafloor slopes upward, indicating that the shoreline is close by. To the right, you see a gloomy mass. It looks like it could be a shipwreck.
You swim out of the room, wondering where you wish to go.

Shore
You swim there, pondering your choice, for a long moment. You could go right toward the gloomy murk, to potentially a shipwreck. But, in the end, you feel that it might be safer if you go toward something potentially less dark and foreboding, so you opt to go left instead, and begin to swim toward the shoreline.
After all, you think, a shipwreck could be dangerous. There’s no telling what could live in murky water you can’t see very well in.
As you do, you imagine that the shoreline might hold some key to get out of here. Perhaps it will even lead to a way to get out of this bizarre shark costume - though now it feels more like an actual new skin than anything.
You make it to the shoreline and begin to walk up.
The shift from underwater to land is an odd one - you can feel yourself breathing normally from your nose rather than the gills on your neck - but it’s not an uncomfortable one. You walk up the warm yellow sand, the coarsness strange, but not uncomfortable enough that you want to jump back into the water, and soon find yourself standing on a massive island!
You gaze about it - it looks like a tropical island out of a TV show like Survivor, or some island-themed movie. It is lush and green, filled with trees, some of which seem to stretch endlessly toward the sky. You can see plenty of big bushes, and a handful of random boulders here and there, yet you see no signs of life beyond the plants.
How odd, you think. You notice that the sky stretches on above you, and it feels like you’re actually outside rather than inside. The sky is blue and beautiful, there are clouds everywhere, and there is a very pleasant breeze that brushes against your skin. It is soothing - you take a moment to soak it in, before you turn your attention onward.
There is no sense in standing around, you tell yourself.

Press On
You take a few steps forward, the skin of your feet still feeling bizarre against the coarse texture of the sand still - you won’t adjust to this for a while, you tell yourself. You soon notice that there appears to be a path smack between two trees, a path that leads deeper into the trees.
You pause to peer behind you. The large coral reef you came from hasn’t vanished or somehow sealed itself off, you note, but you feel in your chest that you should keep going forward rather than going back. Besides, you think, there is still that chance you may find a way out of this strange place.
So, you press onward.
You walk along this sandy path, and feel that it seems almost human-made. It’s not perfectly symmetrical, yet the way the ground is between trees on both sides make you think of hiking trails - you begin to ponder this, while you also ponder the circumstances you have found yourself in.
After all, you are now a walking female shark-human hybrid. You don’t know how this happened, nor do you know if the change is permanent or reversible, but here you are, now wandering through a tropical palm tree jungle.
You shrug this off and turn your focus onward, as you make you way through and around this weird sea of palm trees.
There are no noises beyond the noises you make. You don’t smell anything - your new nose doesn’t appear to work as strongly on land, you notice, and your ears don’t work the same, either. It is like you are on a deserted island, somehow.
Yet as you continue moving forward, you begin to feel hungry.
Your stomach grumbles - a low, oddly threatening noise. You stop and glance about you.
The path you came is still there, yet to your eyes, it appears to be stretching on to an endless degree. You don’t recall how long you’ve been moving for, only that you’ve been at this for a while. You know you need sustenance - to continue on without food would be a death sentence, and you’d rather not get to that point where you’re starving.
You look around, gazing up at the trees. Surely, one of them must have something growing, right? You tell yourself as much - tropical island trees always have coconuts or something like fruit.

No Food
The palm trees around you appear barren beyond their big green leaves. You decide to push a bit on, while you keep your eyes peeled for any sort of food.
You consider the possibility you could leave the path and branch out into the trees. The trunks are thick, but there are enough gaps for you to squeeze through if you do desired.
You decide against it, however. It feels safer to keep on an actual path, rather than risk getting lost in the jungle that appears to be this island.
A few minutes seem to trickle by.
Your stomach continues to gurgle, loud enough it feels like it can be heard for miles. If there are any animals or living things about, you imagine the guttural noises your stomach is making will drive them away, but you don’t pay this much mind. You just keep searching for something edible, anything, really.
At last, you come to a strange split among the path - the trees split open, forming a circle of sorts, and within the circle are smaller palm trees. You first venture left a little, to check and see if it is two paths or one - you find it is one, and that for whatever reason, there’s just a random circle of trees in your midst.
You look up at the trees. Then, you see: there are coconuts in them!
Your gut practically roars in approval at this, and you lick your sharpened teeth. Your mouth waters. You are hungry, and right now, you aren’t going to deny yourself some food, even if you aren’t a huge fan of coconut.
You go to the nearest tree and try to climb it. Your slipper-like feet and odd new hands, however, cannot get a very firm grasp.
You try once to jump, but end up falling on your rump.
You try a second time to encircle your arms around it and climb, but you aren’t able to propel yourself up with enough force. You don’t feel as strong on land as you do underwater.
