In a room
The sign reads
"Welcome all new travellers.
To continue you must go through a series of doors.
After going through you will pick a costume. You will then become a half- human and half that creature.
After a week(100 mins a hour,20 hrs a day,10 days a week) has passed you may morph and get another costume. To start of with you will only be able to become 40% human to 60% human.
If you put on a costume you will then become that creature, be teleported to it's home town and have to wait a week before being able to morph.
After 50 costumes you may change into one of your other costumes and become 30% to 70% human. When changing costumes you must wait at least an hour before you can change costumes again.
100 different species/gender costumes allows you to gender-morph and become 20% to 80% human
200 different species costumes allows you to combine costumes and become 10% to 90% human
400 different species costumes allows you to return to your world with no more morphing
And 800 different species costumes makes a polymorph and allows you to morph outside of this world.
Also if you have a costume like a centaur then the human part will always be human and is counted towards the human percentage.
Any gender/species transformation magic of yours can only change your gender(if you have at least 100 costumes) and the animal part to a different animal.
When you change into a different costume (that you already have) you may teleport to that species home town but you will have the week penalty where you have no costume changes.
If you die while wearing a costume you will be reborn at the local inn (or appropriate location ). If you have more then 100 costumes you will lose the costume you had when you died and go to an appropriate place for your next costume.
If you fail to make it out in 100 years(100 weeks in a year) one of your possible forms will be chosen and you will be permanently stuck in that form(apart from magic) until you die. Also there will be no possibility of going back to your world.
Also, one final note: should you take a female form and become pregnant, you won't be able to change your gender until the child is born, though the other aspects of your form may change (the child will change to match.) That is all, and good luck!
You realise that you have to do what the sign said to do and go through the doors and grab a costume.
Alternatively you could use the key system to determine the room

Water Creatures
You find yourself in what appears to be a glass room deep in the ocean.
The stairs are blocked by a force field.
You realise you have to go through one of the three dark blue doors numbed 1,2 & 3.
What door do you want?
Written by Catprog on 11 February 2004
Normal Water
You go through the door.
All of a sudden it slams shut and with no handle on this side it appears that you are stuck.
There are two more doors however and both of them have a sign on them saying
Costume room for
Element: Water
Type: Normal
Gender: ????
So which door do you want

Female Normal Water
You go through the door.
All of a sudden it slams shut and with no handle on this side it appears that you are stuck.
There are five costumes in this room, all of them female, all of them are normal water creatures.
- Shark
- Tuna
- Dugong

JAWS!
You take the shark costume. The costume's tightness forces you to strip, then put the costume on. The costume comes with a swimsuit, which you put on overtop it.
No sooner have you done this than you feel a tingling sensation throughout your body.
The you feel your skin disappearing as you begin to feel what the costume is touching. The costume's tail and muzzle fill out as your spine and face extend. Your toes vanish, replaced with slipper-like feet. Your teeth fall out, replaced by sharper ones. A series of slits open on your neck. You realize that they are gills.
Now you are an anthropomorphic shark.
With the changes complete, you look at your clothes. A bag sits in their place. The bag appears watertight. You look inside it. There you see your clothes. Further examination finds that your clothes are now adapted for your new shark form. One thing that didn't belong to you is a bracelet. Not sure what to make of it, you put it on. It looks quite handsome on you.
Zipping up the bag, you glance at the door. You find that you can open it, but it no longer leads where it led earlier. It leads to a small room with another door at the end.
As soon as you enter the room, the door shuts behind you, and the room begins to fill with water. At first you panic, but then you remember your gills. Breathing underwater for the first time, you try opening the door you came in. No luck.
You try the other door. It opens, leading out into what looks like an underwater environment. It is a very expansive coral reef.
To the left, you see the seafloor slopes upward, indicating that the shoreline is close by. To the right, you see a gloomy mass. It looks like it could be a shipwreck.
You swim out of the room, wondering where you wish to go.

Shipwrecks
You swim about, pondering your decision for a short period of time - perhaps five minutes, perhaps ten, you aren’t entirely sure. It could be either or, but, eventually you choose to go right. After all, the gloominess doesn’t scare you - you are a shark now, the predator of the sea!
You push yourself forward, swimming at a casual pace toward the gloom, finding yourself swimming lower and lower as you do. The water grows murky and dark, enough to give you some measure of pause since this is something you’re not at all used to doing, yet your vision adjusts as the seconds tick by. With this, you feel the weight of the water increasing - enough that your movement is slowed, but only a small fraction.
Eventually, you peer forward, and you do indeed come upon a shipwreck. Yet when you stop, you are stunned - it isn’t just one ship, but an entire graveyard filled with the wreckages of vessels as far as you can see. Some are so far out, they are dark shadows looming ominously in the distance.
Now is where you pause, wondering if it is too late to return to the coral reef.
This makes little sense, you note to yourself, and this whole scenario feels more like a dream than reality. After all, you’re breathing underwater because of gills, and you have become a shark-human from putting on a weird costume in a weird room.
But, you shrug, again reminding yourself that as a shark, you shouldn’t be afraid. So, you swim toward the nearest shipwreck, lowering yourself until you are inches from the massive, jagged maw. Wood poles are lodged into the dark ground below you, and the ship appears to be split into three sections. All three are open like shark mouths, and you cannot see into them - they are darker than anything you’ve ever seen before.

Biggest Section
You brace yourself and swim toward the one before you, the biggest. You feel it’s the most inviting one, with less of a chance for you to smash into something or for any part of it to collapse onto you - better safe than sorry, in your opinion.
The dark does not grow easier to see as you swim into the gaping entrance to the big ship, and you soon find yourself swimming in total blackness. Even squinting or blinking does nothing for you, and your vision doesn’t adjust very much. You are alone in the dark, swimming deeper into the unknown.
Something surges to your right, a swift movement, and you wheel around, but see nothing. You gnash your pointed teeth together almost instinctively - the sound echoes, reverberating around you, like an underwater burst of thunder.
You realize you have something of a defense mechanism to scare off any would-be problems. Then again, you wonder what else - or who else - could be down here with you? You don’t recall seeing anyone else when you first entered the strange room, nor when you were in the coral reef area…
Strange, you think, that there would be something else down here with you. You didn’t see any sealife before, or were they hiding from you? You hope that might be the case. You are certain this isn’t you being paranoid, even given the circumstances. Either way, you are on alert.
Something is - dare you say it - fishy, and you don’t care for it one bit.
Still, despite this uncertainty filling the pit of your stomach, you are curious about all this, far more curious than you ought to be, for sure. What could lay at the bottom of this shipwreck, if it even has a bottom? You can’t help but want to know, since there has to be some purpose for all of this - you tell yourself this and swim deeper, hoping that whatever you find doesn’t spell doom for you.

Swim Onwards
Seconds tick by, and you swim ever onwards.
You swear you see something else moving out of the corner of your eye, but again it is far too fast, and far too dark for you to be certain. You bring your teeth together, as hard as you can, and hope this is enough to get whatever it is by you away. Again, you aren’t sure if it’s an actual living thing, or if it’s your senses playing tricks on you.
You feel a bit of nervousness at the possibility you are not alone, that you could be in some sort of danger. But, you press on regardless.
By now, you feel that you must be a league below where you began, or somewhere close to that, since you don’t recall the exact definition for getting super deep into water - you begin to wonder if you were foolish to come down here, that you may be lost in these black depths until…
But before this thought can finish itself, your attention is grabbed: the strange bracelet you found when the transformation was completed is glowing!
It is emanating a faint green light, not quite emerald-green, but still very lovely to look upon. You stare at it as you float there, wondering what it means. Is it a sign? Is it dangerous? Is it cursed? You start to swim forward, only for the glow to fade. You stop once more and move your arm, and you realize that the bracelet’s glow brightens or dims depending on where you’re pointing it.
You move your arm to the right, and the glow fades, until you are aiming it back toward where you came - or where you THINK you came, anyways, since it’s behind you - and the glow is gone entirely. You move it left, however, and it brightens.

Follow the glow
Realizing this may be a good thin, that this is likely going to lead you to something that is hopefully good, you start to swim in the direction of the glow, moving slowly so that you can be mindful of when it dims or gets stronger.
As you swim, you again have the sense there is something there with you. But you ignore it and keep going, watching the glow become increasingly more powerful until at last you find it illuminates the entire shipwreck - or rather, the entire cave, for you see now that the ship had sunk and merged with an enormous cave filled with jagged rocks and the remains of the ship. And, you notice, the remains of people.
Skeletons decorate the walls of the cave, some which seemed to have met their unfortunate end by getting stuck, or worse, there. You are surprised to see this, and wonder if these are real bones or fake - yet your attention is again stolen away when you realize how close you have come to stabbing yourself!
The bracelet has kept you alive, you think; the glow has tugged you away from the edges of the spiky extensions from the cave walls. You are grateful now that you decided to keep the bracelet.
Many of these skeletons appear to be wearing the remains of clothing. You spy weathered hats and coats and what could have been boots - these are in tatters, and you’re frankly amazed they’re still in tact to some degree considering everything else.
You notice one in particular whose hand appears to be pointing down. It is missing the bottom half of its jaw, yet you can almost tell that the expression on its face - if a skull could have an expression, of course - is one of yearning.
You shove this consideration aside. You don’t wish to end up like them.
You swim lower, following the glow - it has become a sort of spotlight now, shining down in a very particular direction. You follow it, lower and lower, into the cave, until you come to a very large open area, a cave within a cave. Here, you see the glow from the bracelet has thinned and is concentrating in one specific direction through the murk surrounding you, one that is lower.
Filled with a new sense of interest, you move toward it, pushing through the dusky clouds and navigating around a ship’s mast that appears to have lodged itself into the ground down here somehow.
You soon find that the glow points to a chest - a very large, ornate blue chest, sitting rather snugly in the center of a circle of stones. The designs on the chest are like nothing you’ve ever seen before; they are odd spiralling shapes, a mix of silver and gold colors jutting out from the blue. The chest itself is also weirdly shaped, appearing more like a big oval than the usual chests.
You admire it, until you remember the glowing bracelet. You aim it toward the chest and watch the gleam move on its own, until it points directly at one of two rather weirdly shaped keyholes. They remind you almost of eye-holes.
You look at the bracelet and notice, perhaps for the first time, that the part which is glowing is a small emerald-shaped orb. You feel that the answer to this is to pluck the orb from the bracelet and place it into the slot on the chest, yet in doing so, you imagine you will lose access to your ability to see in this cave.

Give up the Gem
You pause and glance around to double check, covering the bracelet with your other hand - thankfully, as you scan these depths, you are indeed able to see, for it is murky like the top portion where the ships were, rather than pitch black. You feel a swell of relief at this and return your attention to the chest.
Perhaps this is what you’re meant to find, you think. You can’t imagine any other reason for you to be down here, after all, and you have nothing else to do at this point but to press forward. So, you pluck the orb from the bracelet and press it into the slot where it belongs. You feel it slide in, and then, it is lodged there. You see the green glow flicker several times, then vanish completely, and you can tell in your gut that this was where it belonged.
How you got it, you don’t know, nor do you know why it was on some random bracelet. But it’s a little too late to question it now, so, you shrug it off.
One down, you think. But where is the other? You don’t recall any other bracelets when the transformation finished. There was only the one you put on that was now in the chest. So, where could it be? Was it back where you’d come?
You mull around for a moment, trying to see where this other gem could be since you imagine it should be somewhere around here. You don’t see any odd glows anywhere, however, nor are you sure what color it would be, so it must be far enough where it won’t glow, or perhaps it’s inside of something. There are many options, unfortunately, and it leaves you a little flustered.
You begin to feel concerned, at least until you spot something in the distance - you have to squint to see easier, and notice that it is some sort of large building type structure. Why it’s down here underwater, or where it even came from, you aren’t entirely sure. It doesn’t seem like any sort of structure you’ve ever seen before.

To the structure
You swim toward it, hoping it has an answer to your aching question.
The structure has a big opening - a doorway of sorts, but there is no door, it’s just open. You swim in, entering the weird building, and find that it is quite spacious. Not only spacious, in fact, but almost like an entirely new room.
You look around. It’s old and worn-looking, with collapsed columns and what appears to be the remains of a staircase and an upper floor. You can’t be sure, but it appears this room may have been above ground at some point before it somehow sunk. You’re fascinated - it looks almost alien to you, since you can’t place any of the architecture - what you can make out of its architecture - to any culture or civilization that comes to mind.
You float there for a moment, thinking about this, until your eyes are snagged further away - you blink and spy in the distance three statues - and from each, you notice a very faint glow, each a different color. You get closer and find that these statues appear to be large mermaid statues, each twice your size, and each looking somewhat different compared to the other.
The left hand mermaid has very short hair, and has her hands clasped together, as if she were in prayer. You see that there is a violet gem lodged into her belly button - it glows, just like the bracelet.
The middle mermaid has long hair, wavy and with a starfish - a real starfish - resting on it. Her hands her on her hips, and there is a red earring dangling from her left ear. This too is similar to the bracelet, glowing faintly.
Lasty, there is the right hand mermaid. She too has shorter hair and her arms are crossed, and you see that this statue has an eyepatch over the right eye - in the center of this is a golden stone, also glowing like the previous two.
You frown and recall that the chest only had two slots. One slot was for the green stone from the bracelet, that is now lodged there. But you don’t know which of these could be the other. All three are glowing somewhat, yet nowhere near as strongly as the bracelet had been gleaming, you note.
It seems almost possible that none of them are possible choices, but then why would there be three statues with gems that could work just looming here? It feels wrong to assume they’re incorrect, which means you need to figure out which one is the one that goes into the chest. You imagine one will work, while the other two won’t at all.
There are three options before you, and you now have to decide… which one do you want to pick?
